Life expectancy of Tamriel's differing races.

Hey everyone, this has been bugging me for a while. I've done some research into this and not really found a great deal of proof either way, so I'll ask the boffins and lore experts here.

What are the various life expectancies of the races of Tamriel?

So, I would assume Altmer would live the longest, followed probably by Dunmer and then Bosmer. The elves would be followed by 'manmer' Bretons, then Redguards, Imperials and Nords as a three of similar life expectancy. For Orcs I've heard mixed theories, the beast races I would guess live shorter lives.

Here's my (not well sourced or expert) guesses on their probable average life expectancies;

Altmer - 300 years (considering that Sinderion was well over 150 years old when he was in Blackreach)
Dunmer - 200 years (considering Daynas Valen guessed he'd heard the Gauldur legend maybe 100 years ago, and doesn't look particularly old when you find him)
Bosmer - 150 years
Breton - 100 years
Nord/Imperial/Redguard - 75 years
Orsimer - 70 years (I read somewhere they were cursed with short/violent lives, but don't know if this actually gives them shorter lifespans?)
Khajiit/Argonian - 60 years


Like I said, this is mostly guesswork so please don't rage if I'm wrong. I posted the question because I don't know the answer, and would help me along with my RP journal!

EDIT
After reading The Real Barenziah v1-5, it seems Dunmer can live for upto around a thousand years (thanks Neriad). So, I suspect the other elves will be similar, roughly. Still, any input is appreciated.

well the elves in lord of the rings have a mixture of each elf race in skyrim excluding elves
nords are obviously the viking humans
dont know about the rest though

LOTR races:

Men
Elves
Dwarves
Orcs
Hobbits

TES races:

Nords
Imperials
Bretons
Redguards
Dunmer
Bosmer
Altmer
Khajiit
Argonians
Orsimer (Orcs).

It may be based on LOTR, but it's certainly not a copy. Orcs and Dwarves are classed as elves in TES, but they're seperate in LOTR.

Don't nerd rage me because there's probably a lot more races in LOTR, but they're the main ones I can think of off the top of my head.

It's not a copy. Besides nearly every fantasy type story after LOTR had taken things from it. That's part of why its such an important series.

I have been wondering about their lifespans. Going by some of the things said (which I can't remember right now) it sounds like the different races have longer lifespans then we have. I am just wondering, why would you say the beast races have the shortest lifespans?

I thought Orcs where tortured twisted elfs. So they had the Falmer effect but they are still Elven blood :D but yeah you are right

From what I've read and the little I have to go on, elves definitely live longer than humans on average.

In terms of the beast races, I'm going on what I've read, mostly on other forums, but nobody's ever really produced a solid answer.

I didn't know that. Looked it up just then and it said that, so it seems they're quite similar to the Falmer (only much easier to kill). Elder Scrolls Orcs were apparently made with I think Beothiah turned one of the Aldmer gods into Malacath and turned the Orsimer into Orcs. Which as far as I can tell made them uglier and live like Barbarians. But not evil and twisted like in LOTR.

Anyway, my point was that Elder Scrolls races are definitely not copies of LOTR, but somewhat based on them. But so what? Every piece of art is based on something else. He may as well have said LOTR is a copy of Beowulf and the events of WWI!
