Yeah.. Horses just aren't fast, they can't run for very long, and unless you have shadowmere, they die fast. Other than that there only real use is if you are over capactiy, while on a horse you can fast travel no matter your weight.

Well Nightinggale armor to me is equivalent to medieval batman suit. So its pretty good, and the stats are too. And yeah for a much more powerful version just wait for later levels. This is a cool gear set to have. I'm level 47 and I use it.
