level 35 here and done none of the main quest besides killing the 1st dragon, just wandering and doing guild and side quests, buying houses and so on. I was thinking it was getting too easy now until last night i did the theives guild quest in a dungeon with the thieves guild leader and what on...
i'd agree with the above, i think its random.
i have seen armour with +alchemy however...which suggests the poss of getting +enchant..its a skill branch like any other i guess
as others have said here, the illamtas deep ice spike necros were tricky, even with 100% frost resist as found from the gear in a chest. many reloads both there and in the star. otherwise, yes, morokai. he's a real hardass. i'm playing a sneak archer starting attack and then wade in with duel...
ok, firstly now, you cant enchant an item thats already enchanted...what you have to do is learn an enchantment by disenchanting an already enchanted item, so that you then have that technique available to you...it breaks the item so dont do it on your bow if you like it. With master enchanting...

I did the asuras star questline last night and throughout there were some hardass mage mobs...
FYI, i use aila the huntress, mostly as an item mule but mainly so she stays back and out the way, and if i get wailed on i can leg it past her and hope the mob will focus on her. I know for a fact that she ran out of arrows on me and that she goes through them so i have to keep stocking ehr...
from wiki:

nice advice on the fortify destro enchants. i'll pursue that later. its also while i specialise archery as well. i generally sneak shot for 3x dmg and critical then dual lightning.
i noted while killing morokai aswell that he was extremly resistant to magic so it was nice to have a physical fall...
