I hear ya, I'm currently on the TG questline, and will start the DB immediately after. I will eventually get smithing up (higher level) as I want to play with what comes naturally in the game (through quests, and DB/TG/Nightingale). I will eventually enchant a set of Daedric Light Armor to suit...
They stack! From the numbers it will give you over 100%, however once you hit the cap at 100% anything over does nothing, but you will resist all Elemental damage with the perks, stone, and enchant.
For right now I'm using a conjured bow and swords. I'm debating on whether or not to continue into Conjuration for improved Atronach's or not. I have spent points into illusion for silent casting as it is a must using conjured weapons while sneaking. The rest of my points (for now) will go into...
In my own opinion I think it is a good idea to seperate characters into classes. That way when you play him/her you are playing a specific play style and can focus solely on that. I have a Destro/Resto/Alt mage and a Sneaky Archer with Conjured weapons / guardians. Both are different playstyles...
I think the normal run animation is fine. What tips me over the edge of my chair in laughter is when I play my mage and am using a spell in both hands and then sprinting. My manly mage in light Dragon armor looks pretty flamboyant and I usually have to put away my spells because I just can't...
Unfortunately this type of game where classes aren't chosen, with predetermined skills, but are made however the player see's fit, it makes a hybrid character somewhat of a challenge. You will have a long struggle ahead of you. If I were you I would focus on one particular to help power your way...
Nice find. My first character I powerleveld Enchanting/Smithing and gained about 10-15 combat levels. Because I was full destruction with Impact it didn't necessarily hurt my gameplay but it definitely changed it up. I will keep this in mind on my Archer/Sneak if I need to gain a couple levels!
I play on the Xbox 360 but most PC games are alike in this situation. Most have an activation code that you enter during the installation OR account creation. If it is during the installation, you might be able to get away with it if you uninstalled every aspect of it off of your PC. If the code...
I use the Archmage's quarters on my first character as it has an Alchemy / Enchanting table, and a chest. It also has ingredients, potions, soul gems, etc. I thought after looting my own room that the stuff would never replenish but it seems after about a month of ingame time, everything has...
That I'm not sure of... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the only resistance you get is in the Alteration tree at level 30, "Magic Resistance", and I think it is 10/20/30%, but I could be wrong. As far as for a standing stone, you would need to look up the effects of them all to see if...
It is. There are enchantments, that when learned (through disenchanting an item with that particular enchantment), and your enchanting is sufficient enough, you can place it on multiple items to reach 100% resistance. Some of the races also offer resistance to magic or specifically a type of...
That's the issue I am currently dealing with and working to correct. By leveling Illusion to 50, and spending a mere 4 perk points, you can get a talent called "Silent Casting" which wont alert them after you conjure your weapon / conjure an Atronach to go smash their faces! I haven't...
My first character is a mage, having Destruction my #1 and then Conjuration right behind it for the Atronachs to help tank things. I have gotten 100 Enchanting/Smithing and actually use enchanted Dragon armor (Light) to reduce the cost of both Destruction/Conjuration spells. I barely have points...
If you have you bound weapon summoned, then open your inventory and look at either a bow or a 1-H weapon, it will say near the bottom, "Damage ?? (+/-#)"... The ?? is the damage your conjured bow/sword is currently dishing out!
I have also just started this type of character. I'm a Wood Elf...
I love the way the armor was designed visually but I think some of the enchantments could have been different to better suit the style of player that would actually use it as their actual armor. The hood and boots are what I would keep as it suits my style of play. The rest can be replaced with...
Was wondering about this too... I have two characters currently, one who has the Imperial quest, and the other who has the Stormcloak! Glad to know my house will not be touched.
I am currently on Adept. I like to get a feel for the game, then up the difficulty. However, this doesn't mean I'm going to completely make my character a GOD before I up it, merely finish the game on Adept, then when I start a new character, START on Master difficulty. :)
I am enjoying this game on the 360 and have no problems but one or two. As said above, sometimes when you open your menu it Autosaves at the exact same time and causes a 1-2 second lag. The other bug that I ran across was, I was leveling Conjuration and was staring at the ground and the ground...
