He's most likely not gonna be there, maiq appearing is a random event and you can see him anywhere. If you can't find him just keep playing the game he'll show up eventually. And if you want better training well there are better ways of doing it then wailing on poor maiq, he's the only charecter...

Hey burke, streets pretty much hit the nail on the head, its gonna be trial and error for a little while so just figure out what suits you better now and steer towards that way a little later, if you wanna level up now I'd say go ahead you can save the perks for later but as for stats, well...

Yea a agree there, I love steel armour and I always role play, and it keeps it more than usable at later levels. Don't get me wrong I like smithing and enchanting, but they could have toned it down a bit.

It don't make a difference 2 handed or dual wield. And yes you will need a bow. Unless you intend to use destruction, either way most people strongly recommend having a ranged attack.

That is some good research and I applaud you for it, that means that heavy armour levels faster than light. But to answer scorpiomagnun's question, the armour type you wear more of will level faster, or do I misunderstand?
