"So," Sere said as she threw wood on a fire, "another ancient horror has awakened in order to destroy the world? My, how Mundus continues to exist when so many seek its end is beyond me."
"Yes, it is strange. The fact that the dragons fear it means that this thing is more than just a...
Your post can't be too long here. We're at that point where your own story unfolds a little without interference. So long as it makes sense and doesn't go against the main story, then it's all good. Very nice development though.
Dunhe walked all the way out through the thick, frozen trees and through the cold mountain pass that led the his nearest 'home'. As he approached, he could hear the sound of wood being chopped. Someone else was there, but when he cast his life detect, he saw nothing larger than the small...
"Well, you two may need warm clothing, depending on how thick your fur is. I'm going to have to get something from home, but you'll see it when I bring it. Other than that I cannot think of much. I've never had to prepare for trips of this kind where... Well, I normally haven't need of many...
"All right. I shall go and get us a boat then. We will need to split up for a moment it seems. Lets us meet back here say...in three days, at twenty hundred hours at the mouth of this cave?"
"I believe I do. Otherwise it may bother you two. I can explain on the way to get the boat. Or would you two rather hear me now? There isn't much to tell, but there might be a lot to take in from it."
"Let us go then. We need to get us some horses, see if we can't find a boat at the shoreline, and pack up on supplies for the trip. Who's doing what then? I can get us a boat easy if you two can do the rest."
"So be it then. Hm, the cloaks and weapons can be found far north, in a ruin on an iceberg. Just above Windhelm, north-northwest. Here."
The dragon cast a shout, and then a bright map appeared on the icy wall, showing all of Skyrim and part of the surrounding provinces. North of Windhelm, inside...
"Uh, yes... But now's not the time. The dragon still hasn't given us a location to look for these items, and I seriously doubt us having the time to dig through several libraries before this Dovahal burns up half of Tamriel."
He patted around his face to check himself and concluded that there...
Dunhe sighed as the flames disapeared.
"Thank you. I-" The burnt remains of his hood fell away and suddenly his face was revealed.
"Oh! Oh my!"
Had he had eyes, he would have winced and waited for whatever would be said about what he was.
"You want my tongue, kaaz? Here's some dragon's tongue! YOL!"
"Look out!"
Dunhe blocked off the fire again, but this time a little made it through and scorched his face.
"Damn! I suggest we do not anger the large fire-breathing creature. Hold on, is something... Ah, my head's on fire!"
Dunhe...
"Ha! Mey kaaz! Hm, fine then. I'll tell you how you can extend your already short lives. There are some items you can acquire that may prove useful against the god-monster. There is the four Cloaks of Frost, the Bow of Grand Shivers, and a sword so cold that even bron cannot hold for how cold...
Orc with a spear. sounds awesome. Have either of you seen the commercial they have on youtube for the DLC. Spears could be immplimented into it. And they are badass.
