I RP. I also like playing in third person. I tend to only go into first person for archery or if I want a closer look at something but I'm not forced to play that way.

Sometimes when no one else is in, I do my character's voice... y'know when I want to speak to my follower as we walk along... :p

I always find that it helps to write a little back story for your character and maybe make note of some personality traits, what drives them etc. Back story as complex or simple as you like, I normally write it up to the point where they end up captured. :)

Maybe a tv show with a budget and direction like Game of Thrones, focusing on a few different character's lives.

If it did end up as a movie, I think they would need a budget like LotR and a director like Jackson. Can you imagine how upsetting it would be if it turned out like those awful D&D movies???? :confused:

Yes! Insulting NPC's would be great! I have a couple of evil character's and sometimes you are only given nice responses... hate that. Being able to insult someone until they want a fight with you would be great. Also, alcohol should affect you, make you drunk etc, dunno if anyone remember's...

Years ago I used to play Ultima Online, and you could dye your robes and armour. It would be cool if you could do that in Skyrim, I'd like to be able to have red robes or armour etc. Maybe layer clothing too.

I think it's because we love it so much and we've been spoilt by such a good game, it's more of an 'if only' because it would enhance an already excellent game. And personally there's this little part of me that's hoping someone of power at Bathesda reads these forums and likes some of the ideas...

How about if essential NPC's become non-essential once you've done whatever mission/task you have to do for them. Also, why is that one Pale Hold Guard essential??
