Unfortunately for mages, the Archmage robes look really dumb. But I feel that the armors look decent for the most part.

I... I don't even know... They're all great in their own way. Vlindrel Hall is on a high spot of Markarth, as well as the inside being rather luxurious. Hjerim is big, decent decorations, and has a Nordic feel to it. Honeyside feels warms and home-y. Proudspire Manor is huge and luxurious...

No. Look at the Stormcloaks two biggest cities; Windhelm and Riften. Riften is basically run by thieves. Windhelm is falling apart. I can hardly believe what an even larger domain (which would require even more resources) would look like after Skyrim goes independent.

You should really make your thread titles more specific. But aside from that, use Hardcore rules and don't use overpowered things like smithing and enchanting.

Not just in Riften. I've seen them in almost all smaller settlements (Riverwood, etc.)

Steel. It looks badass while not making me stand out like a sore thumb (Daedric and Ebony, and all Guild exclusive armor except Wolf)

You get pretty used to no crosshairs with archery. I've been using no HUD for awhile now, and I'm a significantly better archery than I was WITH crosshairs.

I like robbing places, that aren't meant to be robbed (ex. Bandit Hideouts). Ofxoirse, this only makes sense if your character doesn't kill people (which is the most fun and challenging type of thief imo)
