Except it's not more developed. It's tedious to go through it, and quests don't give clear objectives. And I hope you're joking in terms of the options, because Skyrims is fantastic. And the hp/mg/stma is in my opinion much better than attributes. Attributes made your character seem like a...
I have reason why it has worth. And it was reason enough to replace pure text. And I'm not entirely sure what you meant right there about the fallout games. You'll need to rephrase. I don't see how voice acting replaced a proper journal and map, as well as direction and in-game mechanics. The...
Your beyond convincing. Your not listening. You're literally speaking false facts. Your views on voice acting are strange, as you're the only person I know that opposes it. I'm guessing Morrowind is your thing then. Voice acting adds immersion, excitement, and gives emotion to NPC's. The fact...
Are you trying to be unreasonable? Shouts are novel. They're new. Novel means new. True story.
That aside, for something to be a gimmick, it doesn't need to replace anything.
Voice acting replaces nothing. To bring spell making into this is ridiculous and irrelevant.

Shouts aren't needed. They're a novel and ingenious device to attract attention. *ahem* Gimmick *ahem*
Gimmick - An ingenious or novel device, scheme, or stratagem, especially one designed to attract attention or increase appeal.
Shouts are definetly a gimmick. I agree with Commando on this one.
I think the perks are fine, and the removal of attributes was awesome since honestly, attributes were one of the worst parts of Oblivion. Also, the game is pretty difficult for me, and others. So I don't see any reason to be upset about a broken difficulty system.
Do you commonly use exploits? Getting a skill up naturally is fun, unlike tedious speech exploits. Also, alchemy is a blast if you still have the mystery of ingredient effects. It feels like your actually progressing.
That aside, I find enchanting to be a good money maker too.
