I mostly enjoy it for the fences and the armor (both Thieves' Guild and Nightingales). I rarely get as far as retrieving the Skeleton Key. None of the questlines really sparkle as far as I'm concerned. It's all fetch it and kill it type stuff.
I don't enjoy being a thug and leaning on people...
I believe in the Source of All That Is. We are all a part of It. Connected, though we believe ourselves separate. All religions exist, if only in the minds of those that believe they are true.
I think religion complements science. Religion deals with things that cannot be seen, touched...
I would like to add ICE WRAITHS. Quite possibly tied with Chaurus for panic inducing fear. I can never line up a good shot or strike against them and always have to resort to spray and pray tactics.
Skyrim is an escape from life. In life, I'm a nice guy. I try to get along with everyone. I obey the laws. I pay my taxes. So, with that being said, in Skyrim ...
I. Am. EVIL! Muahahahahahaaaaa! *distant crack of lightening and thunder*
I steal. I kill. I'm a thoroughly nasty person that...
Yet another reason not to do the Civil War questline. But what possessed you to use unsafe storage anyway?
I regret taking my follower along on a fishing job and botching it. Twice. My followers never have the good sense to just run away with me and end up killing the mark. Not only do I lose...
I imagine the nests will produce more than one egg if you can manage to stay away from your house for the required 10 DAYS to get it to respawn. Doesn't seem worth it since you can't even have bacon with those eggs. As for the cows, apparently only native Nords understand the...
I usually only do the main quest long enough to get Unrelenting Force all the way unlocked. For role-play reasons, my Khajiit characters tend to stay out of most of the hold cities which puts a damper on things if I want to fight dragons. I have to sneak in to the city and if I'm detected I must...
If I were to go that route, probably alcohol since it's easier to get and I collect it anyway. I actually had an encounter the other day where I needed health quickly and all my character had available was some Sleeping Tree Sap.
And then I was like, oh wow man. This is totally far out! That...
The "experience" is laughable. Your hands are tied and you're running for your life. He does have a point though. You're one of a very few that got to see one up close and live to tell about it.
Personally, I like the guy. Never had a problem with his attitude or his rewards, or lack thereof...
I'm all about the role-play these days. I don't think I'd want to do it for every character but it's worth trying at least once.
I normally end up with hundreds or even thousands of arrows and typically sell them once my Speech gets high enough. Making my own is something I haven't tried yet...
Word.
I despise the damn things. Even at high levels I worry about running into them more than the Falmer they accompany. The clicking sound they make is creepy and a warning that I'm about to get my ass handed to me if I'm not careful. At low levels they'll make me leave a dungeon if I hear...
Oh my gods! I never thought about keeping the longbow Hadvar or Ralof gives you! Also haven't considered only using self crafted/gifted gear. I like it!
I'm an avid enchanter. I use the rationale for not purchasing magic that magic items are supposedly rare and precious. Nobody in their right mind would sell one if they had it. Thus, to find new enchantments it's necessary to discover them in long lost tombs or pry them from the hands of bandits...
I view them in the same vein as one-of-a-kind items. You'll never get another one if you destroy it. Sure the enchantments can be found or you can even make a better version yourself but it just won't be the same. I'm also a collector so I tend to hang on to things.
I'm with you on the...
Buy: Soul gems, Spells, Ingredients, Ale and rare bottles of alcohol
I never buy armor or weapons. Depending on my personal house rules, I don't buy magic items either.
Sell: Used Skill Books, Potions, Any armor or weapons I don't want to keep for myself or my followers, Gems/Jewelry...
This is partly why I like to collect outfits in the game. Enchanting your own clothing so that you can have the look you want. Mage robes mostly look identical except for a few color changes.
So far I have resisted the urge to destroy it. I'm also not used to playing characters above level 1 so seeing an enchantment like this is unusual for me and feels doubly precious.
I have a strange attachment to steel daggers for some reason. Plenty of better stuff out there yet I enjoy...
Delphine has Balgruuf beat as a douche. She's right there when Irileth comes yelling at Farengar that a dragon was seen and what does she do? Walk out. She's nowhere to be seen at the Western Watchtower. A friggin' Blade. I don't care if she's undercover hiding from the Thalmor. She just shirked...
