I had a new character marry Quintus Navale today. Level 27, midway through main quest, done the Civil War questline for the Imperials and a few misc quests, mostly in Whiterun.
Lydia came, which made sense. She is my only housecarl and first follower.
Jarl Kraldar also came, which at first...
I'd probably have to say Malkoran as well as he remains the only boss I have ever had to lower the difficulty to defeat. Normally when I come across hard bosses I try and use to terrain and make them chase after me as I run hither and thither regenerating magic and/or health. The Wolf Queen once...
I have never actively used pickpocket as I am just not interested in being a thief.
I have never used the light or heavy armor skills. I was surprised anyone did. When I locked at those perks and realised I'd have to stop putting things on for their enchantment willy nilly and have to make...
I always felt more sorry for the Greybeards because they spend years and years on that mountain learning a couple of shouts, then the Dragonborn appears, learns everything they know in about half a day then disappears to learn a bunch more shouts, only returning to make them point out places for...
I usually use snowberries to create potions of resist frost and resist fire. It has both and is so incredibly common it doesn't particularly matter which other ingredients you use to create the potion.
I also make a lot of regenerate health & magic potions using garlic, salt and luna moth...
When I take my laptop to visit parents and brother I will only play it when my brother is out of the house. My brother has severe intellectual disabilities, has no language, high energy, limited capacity to entertain himself and loves me dearly. There is no way of explaining to him that I am...
There is one major problem with Mjoll as a spouse, however. This comic nicely illustrates the problem, and the comments include a selection of various ways people have dealt with it:

I've never once matched her up with Bassianus. "You don't look like a pilgrim. Why bother coming to Ivarstead?" and "What a boring conversation" pretty much sealed his fate to be forever alone. Klimmek all the way! Plus that way Fastred doesn't leave Ivarstead which will make her parents happy...
My new character, after leaving the Companions because she refused to become a werewolf, doing all the non-Daedric quests in Whiterun and half building Lakeview Manor started the main quest. Directly after being sent off to find the Horn of Jorgen Windcaller the cultists attacked her.
I...
In a way though, Miraak wasn't the first "Dragonborn" as the term wasn't invented until a long time after his supposed death, although he was the first mortal born with the ability to kill dragons and steal their power.
One of the random lines given if you talk to all the "Hero of Sovngarde" NPCs in Sovngarde is: "Hail Dragonborn. That honour is also mine. To our shared birthright you bring new glory." So there are certainly Dragonborns present at Sovngarde. Come to think of it, if you are willing to spend half...
I haven't tested this myself, but I've heard if you attack Quintus while Nurelion is asleep and dying he'll leap out of bed and come flying downstairs to defend him.
To Stenvar, who was tragically killed in battle after his wife came home late at night and discovered him asleep in their daughter's bed. Twice.
Reacting to in-game events when roleplaying can take you to strange places sometimes. When I came back without him my daughter ran up and gave me a...
The Dragon finishing move when you jump on it's head and go slash slash slash. I often get out a sword regardless of the character when the health gets low in the hope of triggering it.
Also, using the Become Ethereal Shout and jumping off the Throat of the World. I never, ever walk down that...
Personally, I always thought Bethesda was subtly addressing this when you first join the Dark Brotherhood, introduce yourself to everyone and choose the option: "It's a pleasure to meet you" with Nazir. Choosing that will have him say something along the lines of: "I'm not getting attached to...
I've found in my playthroughs I tend to come across resurrections more often when I ignore all the side and misc quests and focus on the main quest. Of course, you have to shun fast travel and walk everywhere.
I did this in my first few hours of Skyrim when I thought they were actually yielding. Then when I realised Skyrim was full of liars I murdered them all on their knees. I've had my squishy mages, sneaks and archers be killed from behind by a yielder too often to be very merciful.
My first fight with Miraak ended up being utterly hilarious because of his combat lines. I was playing on Master at the time and had used nearly all my healing potions as well as experiencing several nerfs due to a realistic needs mod as it had taken me hours in game to get there.
I went all...
Out of curiosity, what made you decide Miraak's ultimate plan was to conquer all Tamriel? I actually took a completely different view of Miraak's motivations. I decided that his taking over the people of Solstheim's minds to make shrines and killing the Last Dragonborn was all in aid of escaping...
