i believe that the amount to which you can enchant depends upon the enchant skill and perks just take skill enchanter perk and use larger soul gems for best enchatment

ebony blade is a seriously glitched weapon the base damage is super low weight is less than many one handed weapons also killing 10 people only raises the enchantment not physical damage i can also not use sweep with it
