fyi Indoril is a kind of prefix/surname and is one of the great house names, often confused for a first name cause it comes before someones name a lot of times ;)

I am actually East-Merath. No need to change it, unless it becomes important later on. It's just that I'm labelled as West-Merath.

As for the clans of Ysgramor, I've got ideas. The clans would take on the last name of their current ruler. Here we go:

Clan Ysgramor: A clan reknown for it's prowess in battle on Atmora. They eventually won out over the others and set out for Skyrim. Led by Ysgramor himself. Ruling clan. Most prominent in the expedition.

Clan Nsylmare: Previous ruling clan. Has a history of great battlemages. Second most prominent. Ruled by Ulon Nsylemare, great battlemage.

Clan Selid: A clan that dabbled little in politics back in Atmora. They are quite secretive. This clan was based in the northest point of Atmora, a cold and desolate land. They are quite gifted when it comes to hunting, as well as some less reputable practices. Led by Sybil Selid, who is still on Atmora. Not very common in Skyrim.

Clan Enylin: Enylin is the largets clan on Atmora. Great smiths and warriors of all kind scome from this land. They are ruled by Farkas Enylin, who has also remained on Atmora. Most of his clan followed suite.

Okay, just ideas. If this were to go into play it may have to introduce Ulon Nsylemare as a playable guy. Ruler of one of the lesser clans of Atmora. The thanes would all be in Clan Ysgramor. Tell me if this'll work. I'm relying on some made-up lore, as there are no notions of politics or names at Atmora, so I used something a little bit similar to ancient Nordic politics and I used Nordic names.

*insert Epic ideas here*
If necessary, I can pitch Yngol and write up a new card to fit into one of these new clans. I only offer because my playing as Yngol could eventually lead to broken lore.

Yngol would be in Ysgramor, I believe. He is Ysgramors son, right? Clans are mostly a family thign ehre, but can be switched. But, I'm still waiting for word on whether or not that is approved.

Yngol is Ysgramor's son, but earlier in the thread Mebes mentioned that this will continue on past the point of the companion's arrival in Merath, and according to lore, Yngol dies on that voyage. I want to play as Yngol, but if that lore cannot be broken, I will make a new card.

does anyone know when the rp will begin??

Some point today. Around 8 PM MiniMongo time (He's in the U.K.).

Understood.

I just noticed this RP and I was wondering if there was still room available. If there is, Ill try to get a card up before it starts tonight, if not, Ill still have fun watching how this all plays out.

Don't worry Khajiit! There is plenty of room left! :D Take your pick of races! :D

I was going to do Dwemer, but since they seem to have the most people...I'm thinking that I'll go with the Falmer. By the way, I don't know a whole lot about the Falmers lore, and I'm having a hard time making a character card, so if I could get help from one of the Falmer people that would be great.:)

Mini Mongo and Skyrimosity are the current Falmer people right now. I don't know if they are online though.

I could help you out. I study TES lore a lot, and I specialize in the races you cannot play as. So, what do you need to know? Falmer looked like this, in case you haven't beat Dawnguard-
images
They worshipped a whole plethora of gods and had special magic, known to many as light magic. They lived above ground in giant cities simialr to a combination of the rough, northern architecture of the Nords and the graceful, beatiful architecture of the Altmer-

They had weapons of all kinds, usually steel, though occasionally shellbug. Here is a set of shellbug armor. Only the helmet is found in-game-
images
They also wore the white armor that guy up there is wearing. Their weaponry was very similar to Altmer weaponry, though usually bone white. They raised shellbugs-

They had four "houses", all of which worshipped different gods. They are shown above. Anything else?

Thanks, this is probably going to be enough information, and I actually haven't played Dawnguard yet...PS3 user you see. One question, what would you say is the general personalty of the Falmer? Are they all really full of themselves like Altmer, or are they just like modern Falmer in their, kill all approach?
