Aww guys if you're not in then don't worry. It's not the end of the world, and there will be plenty more awesome RPs to take part in. I'm sure some of you are even in some right now! :) So please don't be upset, there's always next time!

Am I the only one who thinks this sounds very Patronizing...
 
Arthonnen, I'm sorry if that message came across as patronizing to you. That was not what I intended. If you have any other problems though, feel free to PM me so that we don't continue blowing up this thread with arguing.
 
To clear the air here, I'm extremely grateful for everyone who applied and showed interest in my role play. Really, the encouragement was great and I enjoyed reading about all of your characters. Though, I made it clear from the very beginning that room was limited and acceptance would be selective. It's nothing personal at all if your character wasn't chosen, and not at all a sign that your character or profile was poor. Frankly, there were a few very decent profiles that weren't accepted. Uther and I read each and every profile carefully, and made our selections based on how well we thought each character would fit into the constraints of the plot. Nothing more.

For the time being, we won't be adding any more characters since the roleplay format on this forum limits the amount of space we have to work with. Too many players and it gets crowded. Though, if in the future, someone were to leave the roleplay, or the plot would demand additional characters, application may be reopened. Until then, things are full.

I hope everyone who showed interest continues to read the story, and contribute to the OOC thread - we'd love to hear your comments and valuable input.

I have to atmit I was very disappointed as I was really looking forwards to it, but it's just on eof those things :)

You just said this. However you are now claiming you don't want people to the thing you just said they can do? What you are saying is basically "You can do this, BUT ONLY IF I WANT YOU TO!"
Also in reply to Melee I don't care if I get on. It's just the principal of the whole thing. Honestly

She was talking to those we have already accepted. Apologies if there was any confusion.
 
Is there really any reason to be that hostile? :/ I believe she was referring to the ones that had been accepted when she said what you quoted.

This was directed at the characters who had been accepted at the time - it was posted directly after I had filled in the character list. My apologies for not being clear and concise about it. There's really no need to be angry about it.

Well. That's completely illogical. If she is saying that there are 3 open positions do you want to fill them, wouldn't changing an already existing character's position just leave more empty spaces!?
