Enoying being a Werewolf

Daelon DuLac

How do you backstab a Dragon?
Enjoying myself as a werewolf (doing the Companions questline 1st this time). Am finding that the skill tree and the abilities therein are very useful with the update.

Of course, I have to be careful where and when I change, but, there really is nothing more satisfying than slaughter of those damned ...mancers and bandits. Then change back and loot everything!

Couple of questions for those who may have taken this course before:

1) Does this affect my relationship with Hircine when I get to Falkreath and deal with the werewolf or is there any affect re the ring?
2) Just what happens when I deal with Namia. I'm already eating human flesh. She probably won't approve as I'm not in human form when I did it.

What are other y'alls opinions and experiences with lycanthropy? Hmm... wonder how those werebears on Solstheim are going to deal with me... hmmm...

1. The cursed ring will actually do what it's supposed to (random transformations when you least want it)
2. Nothing different

I liked being a werewolf, but found Vampire Lord to be more enjoyable, and being a werewolf was a lot better back in the Morrowind days as it was first person.

Thank you!

Well then: cursed ring - in the drawer with the rest of the trophies
Cool!

As I'm not a magic user in general, I thought Vampire Lord wouldn't be anything I'd be interested in. I'll try it next build though.

The Vampire Lord is slightly frustrating unless you take the proper precautions to being a vampire and are prepared to be constantly waiting for night or using a bucketload of potions.

I'll have to remember that. I always carry a bucketload of healing with me until I'm at higher levels (and then it's a bucketload of Ultimates!). I really do need to use magic more often. I use little pieces here and there, but I just prefer the hack and slash (and in the case of the were - slash & slash & slash & throw and slash & slash & slash... take breath... and feed! mmmmmmm.....).

When you get skyrim on PC Daelon, get Werewolf master and moonlight tales. Makes werewolves 100% better

I cured myself yesterday, i wanted my character to be rested and clean.

Sovngarde seems better than hunting grounds, i love killing the undead so it was hypocritical that i was undead myself. My favourite weapon is dawnbreaker.

Dawnbreaker + Slow Time + Final blow on a Dragon Priest or undead boss = Eyegasm

If you side with sinding, and wipe the hunters out, the ring changes.

It basically gives you unlimited transformations. The ring will add something called "Ring of Hircine" into the powers section.

No you don't

Just have something that counters the stopped health/stamina/magic regen, and then it would be just like normal, and that is only at Stage 4, and Stage 4 was made easy because of Dawnguard.

I've never been able to bring myself to side with him. Maybe it's because I'm the father of two girls myself (I'm talking real life not just the game), but in my mind his crime is too great, and I always derive great pleasure from slaughtering him.

Having said that I enjoy the immunity to diseases that comes with being a werewolf. Even as an Argonian I have a tendency to catch Ataxia all the time. It also helps with Vampire hunting.

Well another major issue was that they were all brought down by 30 points during the day, which kind of disappointed me. I'm a pretty bad player all in all, and having less health did not help me at all.

I killed the hunters and got the ring un-cursed. There is a way to get both, but I didn't want to kill the werewolf. I love being a werewolf, one of these times I have to try out a vampire. Maybe after I get dawnguard.

I am assuming you mean cured yourself of vampirism as a werewolf is not the undead. I don't know though, I just ran in to a bunch of vampires that were fighting a bunch of draugars so undead certainly don't necessarily get a long with undead. :)

Haha well, I side with him, then go back and kill him to death. I also think his crime is too great. ( I'm not a father, but I've played through The Last of Us, if you're a father, i'd avoid that game, had me welling up at times... ) :D

Well silver hand are werewolf hunters and they use undead killing swords so i assumed werewolfs were undead.

sometimes its nice to let your inner beast out, apparently in moon light tales once a full moon (i think every month) you are forced to transform, it was pretty cool.

I just like to watch myself toss people around and then eat their hearts. Of course I still do that on my non werewolf characters (I'm a devout follower of Namia), but it's just so much fun to do it in full beast mode! Hmm... a Khajit werewolf? Is that even possible? I mean - wouldn't that make a cat/dog?
