Hello, I don't know if this is a DP or not, but I'm stuck in Mind of Madness quest. During the quest, for reasons know only the friggin' gods, I quick-traveled back to Solitude and now, unable to change weapons or any items, I'm stuck running around and can't find my way back to complete the quest. Yeah, I can go back to Pelagius Wing but, I don't go back to Sheogorath. Help!

my good god ive just done the same!! unbelievable this has now totally ruined the game for me i will not play it again!! unless theres a way out of this!! does anyone want a cheap copy of skyrim???????????? level 51 and this do you realise how much wasted time this has cost me bethesda!!!

errr thanks but no! it just wouldnt be the same! doing things over again just hasnt got the same effect for me! i am distraught i loved this game and now something like this has just killed it for me! ill get back to mass effect 2!

thanks but i couldnt justify doing that all over again,id already spent too much time on it. its not uncharted 3 where you could do that over in a few hours this would take me weeks or even months to get back to where i was! all because they couldnt iron out the flaws! even some sort of warning that this could happen wouldve been nice.
Are you also on a console?
I was reading the UESP wiki about the quest to refresh my memory and it says the maps and such are disabled. How did you guys fast travel?

yes ps3! go into the quest menu click on a new quest and then show on map then fast travel and hey presto your whole game is f-----d! what is my wife in riverwood gonna think happened to her husband!! lol

previous save somehow goes back to level 16! how i dont know!!

starting a lifestyle? agree to be heartbroken? wtf!! im playing a game i paid good money for i dont expect it to f--k up! if you went and bought a dozen eggs and when you got home half of them were broke would you say oh well its an egg they break?

Have you turned off all the auto saving features?

Just try and take solace that it's fairly easy to level, and only playing for a few hours a day, you would be able to get back to your current place you were already at.
Already accidentally deleted a lvl 27, and a 36. 2 Chars down the drain lol; on my 4th atm (abandoned my first)
Only got the game from Christmas, and having a 28,27,36 and 9 (lol) already shows how quickly it is. Think how you could do everything slightly different.
Just try and take solace that it's fairly easy to level, and only playing for a few hours a day, you would be able to get back to your current place you were already at.

maz thankyou for some positive input,i will go back to it but i was just annoyed,at the game and myself for doing it lol. id been playing it for a couple of months,first time ive played a scrolls game so i didnt follow any particular method so i was just thinking another couple of months to get back where i was,but your right if i do things diffrently i know i can get back to 51 in half the time. but i just cant bring myself to put it back on yet!!! crysis 2 has taken centre stage lol

started again! level 45 but whole load o stuff ive done diffrent and although i wasnt as fascinated this time around it still blows every other game ive played out of the water! fantastic
