OOC (18+) The Hunt

I was gonna let you post and respond to Mareks original statement. I could still post for him if you'd rather but it wont be up till tomorrow or maybe later.

Actually I had no idea that there was a Star Destroyer by the same name. I just liked the sound of it along with the meaning; Judge. Thats kinda cool though. Maybe I should just upgrade and have Aden own a destroyer of his own:p

Heh.

Yeah, best part is, the Judicator was one of the ships that served under Thrawn after the Battle of Endor.
(BTW, you guys need to know anything on the Empire, I'm your man:D)

Who are the folks in your sig Drahkma? Captain Thrawn has a really good point there. One that would make any rebel foam at the mouth and ragequit.

Captain Thrawn was a captain in the Imperial Navy, and a superb tactician. He was a non-human, which meant most in the Empires' command structure really didn't like him. He was granted the rank of Grand Admiral, highest rank in the fleet, besides Supreme Commander- Vaders' position. He's also a badass because he wasn't afraid to say 'no' to the Emperor, if he thought the man had given bad orders. Even after the Empire was officially 'defeated' he still had the Rebels running in circles with his superb strategies.

Tash Arranda...Don't know so much about her. Force sensitive from Alderaan, I think.

Wow. Yeah, from what I've read the rebels dida lot more harm than good with their Alliance of Free Planets and the New Republic. Then the Yuuzhan Vong came and tried very hard to wipe the galaxy clean of life and that got everybody focused.

Worst thing is, Palpatine and Thrawn already knew about the Vong. That's why the Emperor sent Thrawn out to the Unknown Regions to keep an eye out for them. Personally, I think if the Empire would have stayed in power, they would have kicked the Vongs' collective ass.

Probably. They could have taken the Death Star...oh wait, our "heroes" blew it up. Didn't the Vong make it all the way to Couresant and kill everyone on it?

Mostly everyone. Although, in the rebels defence, they did manage to stop three full waves of Vong before they lost the planet. Although, their chief of staff was tortured to death in his own office sooo...and they lost the capital of their government soooo...yeah that's a loss for the New Republic.

Yeah. It kind of sounds like they governed based on "Hey! Have you seen our awesome heroes in three kickass movies? They're running the galaxy now and you should do what they tell you despite not having nearly enough men and women to enforce the new government! Yay!"

Pretty much. I mean, you think, instead of hunting down the remaining Imperials, they would have focussed on creating a stable government, and then worrying about the Imperials?

Or leaving the imperial hobo it's in place because they, you know, know how to run a galaxy spanning government and the rebels don't.

Yeah. But the rebels thought they were doing the galaxy a favour. In their defence, the imperial Order 37 was pretty brutal.

Hey guys. I just wanna remind everyone that I have added a theme song for Baroth in the 'Personality' part of the CC. I would also like to add an alignment. I have, believe it or not, pondered over this for a long time and I have settled on......Neutral. Also expecting a post from either Simus or Marek. Which ever come first.

I'll try to get one up later today. And I wouldn't expect Aden to be too upset with Jessica once she explains the situation to him him. He is a pragmatist after all.

Yeah. But the rebels thought they were doing the galaxy a favour. In their defence, the imperial Order 37 was pretty brutal.

Brutal but necessary? Anyways, my favourite part about the Empire is the discipline that both the Stormtroopers and the Fleet prided themselves on. Although, both of them spent their off duty hours mocking the other.

In regards to the RP, Drahkma, Shaded, I really liked your descriptions of the marketplace near the hangar bays. So I'm going to have Derek take the scenic route, as to not mess with your description of the area. Of course, being a capital city, I think it's safe to say it has numerous sectors. Which will play apart in the RP.

Sure. But I thought you were having 15 investigate the slavers?

By the way, guys, I'd prefer you avoid conflicts with the two factions. If you feel it's absolutely necessary, fine. But expect some serious repercussions. I mean, these are two galaxy spanning superpowers.

Dont worry. Just a brief security check. I mean, you get through a planetery blockade in a military craft, people get suspicious right? It wont be too big of a deal though, S.O.U.R.C.E. and the dominion have worked toghether on Eregin before.

Found another interesting quote:

"Who are you?!"
"You know who I am. The Empire maintains order. People like you disrupt that order."―Wedge Antilles and the defector Sarkli

I gacked my pants when I heard that in Rebel Strike. When I figured out it was Sarkli I was all "he had an escort carrier!?"
