Still reluctant to retire Skyrim, even though I just had an awesome play through as a High Elven Vampire decked out in Ancient Falmer armor and with an enchanted silver 2Hander.
Now I'm thinking about doing something like a pure Stormcloak focused character dual wielding in light armor. My...
Hmm, good point. I suppose that would be up to the player just how ancient. For me though, I would say he was around Talos' time. He is thoroughly dedicated to being a Dragonborn and destroying dragons. I suppose if you wanted something older, then yes Kyne would be the God you would follow...
There are pages devoted to different Skyrim builds out there to keep the game interesting 2+ years later, but if you are like me, you have trouble carrying through with them for any extended period of time. Skyrim is huge after all. For instance, I was just doing an Imperial Praetorian build...
Yes, but can I one-shot stuff or will I constantly be laying a rune down, hit monster, back up, lay down rune, hit monster, back up...until the monster is dead? Or will I have to be content with just making the rune my opener then finishing them off with bow or sword or other spell?
My question is...
I assume that rune damage can be improved with elemental perks and items, like say for instance one of the unique masks found in DB that increase elemental damage. Let's say I'm sneaky and take quiet casting and have the ability to lay down silent runes from far away...does...

I heard that if you were an elven helmet you can then get the perk maybe? Of course it doesn't quite look right though. I always just threw on the Aetherium crown however and that kinda works with it.
Well if it works with one, then maybe it also does the same with frost. I'm thinking of enchanting bows then taking the frost perks in the Destruction tree, kinda like a freeze gun kinda deal.
Hi, thinking of making an Imperial Soldier and doing everything an Imperial in Skyrim would do: Join the Legion, destroy the Brotherhood, sword and shield combo. Stuff like that. unfortunately this makes the Tullius armor unobtainable, but I can't rationalize this character joining the...
So including the DLCs, what is currently the best mage gear? I'm not including stuff you enchant yourself, purely stuff you find or quest rewards? Is it still the Arch-Mage robes for instance?
Looking for a new run-through. I have both DLC's and the only caveat is I'm leaning towards Heavy Armor since there is a set in Dragonborn I'd like to put on. Not sure about race, perks or anything though. I've got a couple characters already and it all gets jumbled in my head and I can't keep...
