Exactly what difficulty are you playing at? Doesnt sound like Legendary atleast, give that a try.

Elemental Fury Shout with Dual Wielding

I had a character once that used The longhammer, which is a 2hand orcish hammer that swings 30% faster, but works with elemental fury. Worked quite well, especially since longhammer is easily obtained early on, and so is the smithing perk.

    Apparently I am becoming Annoying.

Am i the only one that thinks naming and shaming is worse than calling someone annoying? Well regardless i should probably stay away from this thread, it'll just end up in unnecessary drama.

    Am I the only one...

ESO will undoubtfully go free to play, most likely within the first year. The attitude that i dislike is that EVERY FREAKING GAME now adays must have a multiplayer tag on it. Theres far too many mmo's and far too few good single player developers left, and yet every time a great single...

I dont want to play it at all, as far as i'm concerned its non-canon.

For a Mage, what is the most important school to concentrate on first?

Well some enemies have more resistances to certain elements, so ofcourse its good to not just sticking to one of them. Good luck killing karstagg with frost magic eg :D But man all this talk of mages lately has really made me feel like making one again, it has been a while...

For a Mage, what is the most important school to concentrate on first?

Oh i should probably give you a heads up, be sure to stock up on the gold ore before completing the quest, as pavo is practically guarenteed to die some time after the quest is completed. This is due to the fact that he will head to his home at kolskeggr, and unfortunately as we all know...

For a Mage, what is the most important school to concentrate on first?

Flame atronach is one way, they tend to overly focus on them. Another is just doing alot of dodging and casting destruction spells, but it does require a decent amount of waiting around for mana to return, atleast on higher difficulties (this was on master) You should have a few mana potions...

For a Mage, what is the most important school to concentrate on first?

Ah we're using it differently ^^ I clear this camp, mine some iron, transmute some stuff... Then i head to kolskeggr mine and clear the forsworn, mine the gold ore, and complete the quest. Then i sell all my gold ore to pavo for 50g a piece. Last time i did this i remember i had around 13000g...

For a Mage, what is the most important school to concentrate on first?

The bandit camp with transmute is slightly behind whiterun, i consider that pretty much around the beginning of the game. I think i'm usually around level 3 when i get transmute. I always deal with cash issues as one of the first things, before i really get into the questing.

My most horrible day in Skyrim.

A few weeks ago i was doing the diplomatic immunity quest, and had just given all of my armor/weapons/potions for malborn to smuggle in. On the way to the carriage i was attacked by a dragon, while naked, on legendary difficulty.

For a Mage, what is the most important school to concentrate on first?

Well while i'll agree alteration is an extremely useful tool, i'd argue that it really isnt a necessity at the beginning of the game, as you're unlikely to run into a ton of enemies you cant easily dodge around. If you're playing on legendary, you're gonna need to dodge enemies in the...

Why do so many people hate squishy mages?

Yet i said so lightheartedly, i thought that was pretty apparent from the comment i made. You chose to be offended by it.

Why do so many people hate squishy mages?

Well i suppose we're just different, i would still be spelling "know" as "no" or "now" if it hadnt been pointed out to me, i guess i'm just not easily offended. And i think that was the right thing to do, seeing as it was turning into more name calling than constructive arguments. I'm not...

Why do so many people hate squishy mages?

Sorry i just had to point out the irony that "stupider" isnt a word :p *casts calm spell* This is getting alittle out of hand, theres no need to throw insults around over a differing opinion, people having different opinions is a good thing, life would be dull without it.

    racial friendly builds

You going for lore friendly? If so i'd agree its certainly argueable that argonians are the best assassins, but a khajiit or bosmer are certainly better thieves, and probably alchemists aswell, khajiits made skooma eg.

Why do so many people hate squishy mages?

Well that may be how you play stealth builds, but as an assassin i take out every enemy i see from the beginning of the game. I actually tend to target some of the more challenging enemies when i start out, simply because its far harder to kill those without the 30x dagger damage, and higher...

Did that remind anyone else of South park?

Why do so many people hate squishy mages?

While i like squishy classes, i dont like mage in skyrim much. Somewhat for the reason Alextrasza mentioned, except i dont find it hard, just...annoying? Having far too low mana to really cast any spells for long enough to kill enemies, its always *shoot* *run from enemy and wait for mana to...

My most horrible day in Skyrim.

Oh god, this reminds me of oblivion where i would hear the "in-combat" theme music and i'd walk around for 5 minutes wondering whats going on, and then suddenly i see a mud crab come walking at me at 0.05 miles per hour... How did you manage to get killed by one though?
