Feeling the strangness in the room the extra breath and heartbeat of the hidden.

Bruynzeel hums the tune from the music box as he prepares food he slices meats into thin slices. Then some bread and cheese. Taking two eggs and separating the whites out and adding some vegetable oil he whips it into a spread. Taking a knife he spreads it on the bread adding the meat and cheese some lettuce and a slice of tomato. Placing the second piece of bread on it he takes it in his paws and bites into the creation. Then drinks some of the coffee to clear his throat.

"Corvo, you care to join us? Or are the rafters comfortable?"

Corvo swore silently. damn it, I rushed myself, if id had more time i could have slowed my breath. still, odd that he could sense me... Corvo thought before swinging down to the floor. standing upright, he stared at the Khajiit, sizing him up. on first appearance he looked quite intimidating, tall with white fur and purple eyes. yet on closer inspection Corvo noticed he was leaning to one side. a limp...interesting. "tell me Khajiit, are you the one who sent me the letter? if not then im afraid that the fact that you know my name has greatly shortened your life expectancy." Corvo's hand went to his side, where he kept his blades and other items.

Bruynzeel chuckled through a mouthful of sandwich. Took a drink totally relaxed. Then stated, "Before you slice me up. I am Bruynzeel, I was not the one who sent the letter. But I, and all assembled here received one. Mine still lies on the table for any who wish to read it. Your a very skilled spy, and there is no dishonor in having someone like me realize your in the room. Besides if it had been our big friend here, Geran. He might have pulled you down before asking if you wanted to join us. And I know your name cause I have only one file with someone who had the skill to get in here with out the code, without a key and without getting caught."

Puts his sandwich down onto a plate and then bows low while still keeping his eyes locked on Corvo's. "We are expecting one more, but I am sure you have questions and I think Fen, wants another closer look at our set-up."

Turns to Fen "I hate to say it but your probably the quickest learner here. So I noticed a instruction manual on one of the tables down there. Mind going through it and letting me have a synopsis?"

Geran awoke, he had been alseep for minutes, but it sometimes happened, his past brought bad memories, and he mostly found it hard to sleep.
He went to join Corvo and Bruynzeel, but instantly he felt tension as the unknown mans hand laid against his blade.
Geran only caught the last part of a conversation ''Shortened your life expectancy''
Now he didn't like that, and rushed in the middle of them to, he was here for a contract, not a bloodbath.
But just as he was going to reply, it had seemed Bruynzeel had dealt with the situation already.
''Bruynzeel.'' Geran said as he entered the room, raising his fist to his chest, having it stretch across his chest, and lowering his head like a bow.

Geran then seated himself, glancing constantly at the unknown man, until finally having the voice to ask him his name.
''Your name?'' Geran simply said, sticking to his, 'short and sweet' sentences.
He took some mead from his satchel, taking a sip and putting it down he carried on glancing at the man, then at Bruynzeel, seeing how they were armed, he was very cautious.

A gentle clacking sound steadily grows louder behind Fen, causing her to turn around while finishing up the apple in her hand. Bruynzeel enters the kitchen leaning slightly on his cane, and upon noticing her, asks what she would like him to cook. Swallowing her last mouthful of apple, Fen tosses the core toward the garbage basket, smiling as it hits the wall and falls in with the rest of the waste.

The familiar sizzling sound of frying meat reaches Fen's ears, instantly causing her to excitedly whip her head around in the direction of the sound. She walks over the counter as Bruynzeel prepares his food, whipping together all sorts of ingredients into a sauce that he slathers onto some pieces of bread. He places a few pieces of lettuce and tomatoes on his sandwich, which made Fen frown slightly. Strict adherence to the Green Pact back in Valenwood meant that she was not a fan of vegetables, preferring filling meat to the flimsy roots and produce.

She returned to her seat as a newcomer entered the room, hostility emanating from his speech and actions. Bruynzeel remained calm, addressing the man and calming him down before turning to Fen. He asked about an instruction manual that had been on one of the tables in the structure below them, and if she would be able to look through it. Already Fen's mind was working as the gears began to roll, trying to figure out what it might say, what she could learn from it, what automatons it discussed.

Nodding curtly, Fen couldn't help but let a small smile cross over her face. "I'll get on that soon enough." Looking first at Corvo then at Geran, she swept one arm across her body and extended the other away from her, bowing deeply before them. "Apologies if I haven't introduced myself before now. I'm Fen, nice to meet you gentlemen." She straightened up and stuck her hands on her hips. "I was going to go downstairs, but I think I'll stay here for a bit and get to know you people. Haven't properly made any introductions, have we?"

Fen ambled back over to the table, flipping a chair around backwards and sitting on it so that her arms could fold on top of the back. Looking around the room, she asked, "So, who are you people then?"

Corvo stared at the man and elf for a minute. the man, the one Bruynzeel called Geren, was also an intimidating sight, tall, strong, scarred. the other was a wood elf who had intraduced herself as Fen. she looked small and nimble. somewhat less intimedating then the other two. well looks can be decieving. leaning against the wall, Corvo addressed the two. "Who? Who is but the form following the function of what, and what I am is a man in a mask". then pulled down his hood, allowing the man to see his Dwemer mask clearly.

Geran stood still staring at Corvo, he was unsure of his intents but a small elf by the name of Fen broke his stare.
She was kind and calm, appeared to be quite pretty for a elf, and introduced herself politely.
''I am Geran, and it is nice to meet you fen'' Geran raised his hand across his chest in a angled position, and lowered his head like a small bow.
''So, what's your story then?'' Geran asked, curious of who exactly this elf was.
If this was to be the team Geran would be, then Geran would like to know exactly who everyone was.
Geran liked Corvo, but his secrecy kept Geran cautious and aware, he would be a good team mate, but Geran didn't completely trust him as he did Bruynzeel, and Fen, to a point anyway.

Bruynzeel had heard about the mask, but there had been no drawings of it. It seemed both simple and ornate at the same time. Similar to the Dwemer helmet but without the center ridge which Bruynzeel always thought blocked too much sight.

Bruynzeel remembers the green pact of the Dalish.. and picks up a plate of pheasant and says "Here Fen more your speed." And carefully steps over to her and between Geran and Corvo his sandwich in one hand and the pheasant in the other. Laying the plate on the place in front of her.

"I think Fen is right it is time to have a proper introduction. I will start and I will tell you each why your here and generally what is expected of you." Takes a seat at the head of the table and waves for the other two gentlemen warriors to be seated.

"I am Bruynzeel, Qa'Bruynzeel. If you know my language that means I am the Strange One. But knowing a name is not knowing a nature. I am old and as you can see I have a limp. Do not think that weakens me! For you would find my blade soaked in your blood and your life spilling in front of you if you were to even imply I was weak. I demand respect, if you don't give it I will take it from you. I am here to lead you and to train you."

points to Fen. "You are Fenditura, Fen. Your specialty is technology, and a highly inquisitive mind. Along with your archery skills. You are here to help with the warehouse itself, to insure everything runs smoothly and that we all are safe. Have no fear you will not just be locked in the warehouse."

Turns to Geran "You are Geran, your intimate knowledge of bandit tactics and a unyeilding nature are your strongest assets. You are here to help get us out of danger when the need arrises through brute force and cunning."

Turning to Corvo "You are Corvo, Stealth, subterfuge, and outright thievery are your skills. Demonstrated by your getting in here without alarm. I will be using your skills as a scout and a spy."

Then addressing all of them. "You each are individuals, highly independent, and sometimes not used to dealing with others. You will be a team. You will give your fellows the same respect I demand or I will remind you why you need to have respect. If that seems cruel, well I am sorry but we are here for a very serious task. The Circle has contracted each of us for a undetermined time to acquired Artifacts. Those artifacts are dangerous and powerful. So powerful as to upset the balance. We together are to Tag them, Bag them and store them. So that no one may use them for any purpose. According to the files there are a few items that we will be able to use to aid us in the search and strengthening of our team. Our first rule is that we do not exist, the warehouse doesn't exist. If we are caught or captured we will be on our own. No outside help will be coming we will have to rely on each other. The Circle will not acknowledge we are working for them as they also don't exist. Alot to take in I know... So any questions to start off with?"

Geran listened as Bruynzeel introduced himself.
He then began pointing to each individual member, first of all starting with Fen.
"You are Fenditura, Fen. Your specialty is technology, and a highly inquisitive mind. Along with your archery skills. You are here to help with the warehouse itself, to insure everything runs smoothly and that we all are safe. Have no fear you will not just be locked in the warehouse."
Fen, or Fenditura, at first Geran thought she was somewhat of a harmless women, but by how Bruynzeel explained she is essentially a genius, and a expert in archery.
She will be a valuable team mate, and Geran is happy of her to be in the team, she will keep the team as one, essentially guarding them and looking after them, a perfect addition.

He then spoke of Geran.
''You are Geran, your intimate knowledge of bandit tactics and a unyielding nature are your strongest assets.
You are here to help us get out of danger when the need arises through brute force and cunning.''
Bruynzeel knew Geran well, or the Circle knew him well anyway, whatever was happening, and whoever the Circle was, they knew Geran, and must have had spies everywhere.
Geran said nothing during Bruynzeels speech of Geran, and carried on listening to what else he had to say.

Bruynzeel then began to speak of Corvo.
"You are Corvo, Stealth, subterfuge, and outright thievery are your skills. Demonstrated by your getting in here without alarm. I will be using your skills as a scout and a spy."
Geran could tell that on first site, and now he knew his name.
Geran didn't like him, but he would provide the team with brilliant skills, and brilliant scouting.
It was clear that he was unmatched with his talent, probably the best in Cyrodil, and that was the same for all the group.
The Circle was powerful, and they were very specific on who they wanted, and though this was good, it actually raised questions on how dangerous this was.

Bruynzeel then asked if anyone had any questions, and Geran had but one.
''When do we start?''

Bruynzeel knew the nature of Geran and had been sure of him as soon as he saw him stand. This man was sure to stay and sure to be a true asset. And Bruynzeel feels in his heart that though he is a tough man, seemingly cold. Has only been looking for the right thing to stand for.

Grinning "Geran, you and I started yesterday." Bows his head in a nod of honor.

Then taking a bite of his sandwich and continues waiting for the others questions.

Corvo continued to lean against the wall while he .thought about what Bruynzeel said. the idea of doing this simply to keep balance seemed noble enough but not everyone is as noble as Bruynzeel. once Bruynzeel had replied to Geren Corvo asked his question "you say we will be working to keep the balance, but how do you know thats what we're doing? i know nothing of this circle and for all we know we might not be keeping the balance but instead building an arsenal for this "circle". how do we know we can trust them?

Corvo asked a valid question. How was trust earned?

Bruynzeel knew the answer trust just was, you had to earn it only if it had been broken. Anything else was just pandering to the weaker parts of fear.

"Have you ever heard of the Circle before now? As I have not. That in of itself speaks volumes about their self-control. I have the feeling that they may be even older than I am. Possibly dating back to the Dwemer ages. I know the Akaviri priests had some handy work in this place, but you haven't seen that. So I will show you."

Stands taking another bite of his sandwich and limps lightly over to the fireplace and sticks his hand into the dwemer jar. The fireplace hisses and slides to the side just as before and the lift with its carvings is revealed.

Geran stood as he listened to Bruynzeel continue to talk on the matter.
It was clear that, like the others that had be gathered to this somewhat, unorganised meeting that he did not know the Circle, nor it's purpose.
Geran wasn't sure how to take this, was it good that it was clear Bruynzeel was another man, just tasked with his job, and clearly not here for another reason, or was it bad that he did not know the Circle?
Many questions had begun to flow within Gerans mind, but he kept listening, ignoring all the possible thoughts and reasons.
''Bruynzeel, how is all this relevent?'' Geran questioned the Khajiit, he was an impatient, somewhat ignorant man at times, but he meant the best for not only himself, but also the group.

Corvo entered the square room that was reveled. it seemed to be of Dwemer and Akvair make, there was also a lever in there. "A square room with a lever? am i supposed to be impressed?"

Bruynzeel grins, now he is just playing with me. Noone with his experience would not recognize a elevator if they saw it. Bruynzeel had to think on Geran's question though."Geran, the need must be there, as he seems to need proof." Turns to them all. "Maybe we should get someone who has that perspective. The bigger why are we here? Excuse me a minute I am gonna get the caretaker Samuel down here and I think we should have a more proper tour of the place. Then I can show you the impressive part of all this Corvo."

Bruynzeel excuses himself and heads upstairs. Reaching the bar he says to Samuel. "Hey Sam, do you have the time to give us a more proper tour? I think its needed." "Sure, let me get my assistant to watch the bar. Esmerelda, watch the bar I have to do something. And if the other two we are expecting show their keys are right here." "Sure thing boss." "Actually I need one of those right now as one already arrived." "Really? Which one?" "Corvo." "Man I knew he was good, but to get by the door security he must be on another level. Here is his key."

Then Samuel walks around and joins Bruynzeel as they return downstairs. Bruynzeel speed spins the combo showing off his dexterity. The door hisses and slides to the side. They walk through the training area as the door hisses shut, entering the kitchen.

"Corvo, this is Samuel." "Sam if you don't mind Sia Bruynzeel." "Alright Sam, Corvo here is your key." Tosses the key toward Corvo who catches it and then stores it away with a flourish. "Everyone into the lift. We are gonna go have a proper look see." Samuel and Bruynzeel enter the lift and await everyone else.

As the other members of the group came forward with their questions and concerns, Fen leaned forward in her chair and let her eyes flit across the face of each man as they spoke. Bruynzeel had told her that she would be working with the rest of the group, that she would not be trapped in the warehouse below for the entirety of their task. But as she listened to him describe the other members of their team, Fen was unsure of whether or not she could really contribute to the squad. In her mind, she was just a decent marksman and a Dwemer researcher. The people who had recruited her must have had their wires crossed.

A frown crept across her face, furrowing her brow as she clenched a fist tightly. Remembering where she was, Fen allowed a smile to plaster across her face as well as let some positivity flow through her mind as well. Their group was certainly diverse, and would no doubt come across a number of challenges in their endeavors, which, at the moment, were still relatively unknown to them.

The sound of Sam and Bruynzeel talking snapped Fen out of her hazy-minded state, bringing her back to reality just as they say something about entering a lift that had appeared while she was lost in her thoughts. It looked like the lift that had taken them down to the elevator, but even from where she was sitting Fen could see traces of Dwemer design in the carvings.

With a delighted squeal, Fen leaped out of her seat, running over to the wall and snapping her goggles over her eyes to allow for a closer look at the carvings. They looked like fairly common Dwemer carvings, some of them even appearing similar to the ones found all over her former house. There were minor differences though, obviously a sign of some other cultural influence, although she was not quite sure what the other was. Surely Sam or one of the others knew, and she made a mental note to ask somebody later as the rest of the group filtered into the lift and surrounded the lever in the middle.

"I may have spaced out for a second," Fen began as she removed her goggles and put them back on top of her head, nestled among her short, wild hair. "But where are we going, exactly?" She crossed her arms and looked around at the group, a quizzical expression on her face but an excited gleam in her eyes.

Geran watched as Bruynzeel continued to try to explain all this to the team, especially Corvo, who seemed to really be bothered why he was here. Did it matter? No, all that matter is they get the job done quick, and get to go home richer, and sitting around talking about what and why, and bringing up every question that comes to their head was a utter waste of valuable time, if Geran was solo, he would have already got a artifact, but instead, this team seemed like they needed to sit around and rest.
''When are we getting the first artifact Brunyzeel?'' Geran said, he was sick of sitting around.

Geran had to admit it though, as much as he would prefer going solo to save time, it was probably best that they had a team, if this was going to be as hard as they say it is, having a team would save not only Gerans life, but Bruynzeel, Fen and even Corvo's life, no matter how skilled they were.

Corvo greeted samual with a nod. " A pleasure." he was about to ask him some questions but upon sensing that Geren was growing tired of waiting, Corvo entered the elevator and waited for the others. that Geren one certainly is impatient, that could cause difficulty's on a mission. his thoughts also turned to Fen, who was examing the dwemer make of the elevator with glee. she seems somewhat.....different. lets just hope in a god way. while geren was talking to Bruynzeel, Corvo decided he might as well talk to Fen. he turned to address her. "so i see your interested in the dwemer."

Bruynzeel as the elevator descent takes them ever closer to the warehouse. "Geran that's a good question. Have any of you ever heard of Red Eagle?"

But before any can answer "He was a leader of the Forsworn back a few hundred years ago. He nearly took over all of Skyrim and had plans on more. It is said that he was not just one person, that a Briarheart was the true power. There is a older legend of a Hagraven seeking to control the world, created a briarheart known as the Conquerers Heart. Apparently it has been found and we are to retrieve it before its used to unite the forsworn and start the whole world domination thing all over again."

A slightly muffled voice broke Fen's concentration on the markings of the elevator walls, turning her attention up toward whoever was addressing her. It was Corvo, certainly the one with the most interesting appearance due to the Dwemer mask covering his face. Jumping to her feet, Fen removed the goggles off of her eyes and on to the top of her head, peering at Corvo's mask with obvious interest. Even while balancing on the tips of her toes, she was still a good head shorter than he was, the top of her hair barely on the same level as his chin.

Leaning against the wall, Fen continued to observe the marking and intricacies of the mask as she answered his comment to her, a small smirk on her face. "I am very interested in all things Dwemer. Speaking of, your mask is of Dwemer make. No doubt you knew that already. How did you come by something like that? Have you been inside the ruins? How long have you had it? Do you wear it everywhere?"

Fen's incessant questioning was cut off as she heard Bruynzeel address Geren, informing him of what she assumed would be their first "mission" together. It had to do with an artifact that the Forsworn had used to try and take over the world, and of course, their first course of action would be to obtain this item before any of the Forsworn (or Hagravens, since Bruynzeel mentioned that they made the artifact) got to it first.

"So where will we be going to find this 'Conqueror's Heart'? Or do we still have to determine the exact location of this item?" Fen piped up, feeling very small and still trying her best to wrap her head around the situation.
