OOC (18+) The Hunt

Thanks!

Name: Argus Drell

Race: Argonian

Age: 33

Gender: Male

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Allegiance: None.

Affiliations: Thieves Guild, occasionally.

Appearance: Average weight and height, (5'7"), light blue scales with darker blue highlights on his jaw, cheeks, shoulders, and going down his back. Very muscled, due to years of extensive training as an assassin for the Argonian government. Has several scars on his arms and chest, both from training and battles. Has no horns or hair to speak of, simply scales.

Apparel: Leather pants, and a coat, also of leather that goes down to his knees. His apparel auto-repairs, when out of combat, and can withstand very limited amounts of blaster fire. Wears gauntlets laced with energy resistant material, making him dangerous even to opponents wielding energy weapons. His boots are soft soled leather, allowing him to move very quickly and silently. A helmet he can wear in no atmosphere situations, encompasses his whole head, and supplies him with four hours of oxygen. Links up with his suit to provide full coverage.

Weapons:

T-44 Autarch LRB (LRB=Light Repeating Blaster): Can fire in bursts of four, and can be switched to single fire mode.

E-16 Raptor pistol. Powerful, single fire blaster pistol. Fires eighteen rounds per energy pack.

Misc:

A comm-link interceptor, allows him to listen in on comm conversations, within a few hundred meters.

A scope with X 4 magnification. Allows him to observe enemy units from afar.

Combat Preferences: Argus is efficient at mid to short range with his weapons, and excels at hand to hand combat. Prefers to engage a large number of enemies with his LRB, before engaging with his pistol, and hands and limbs.

Abilities: A lightning attack, based on destruction magic. Allows him to fry organics and short out droids circuits. Drains his energy so much, he is only able to use it once per battle. Can only use it at close range. (Max. range, 2 metres.)

Personality: Calm, and to most of the people he meets, he's seen as cold and calculating, although in reality, he cares very much about those less fortunate, and will not fight if he believes it will cause pointless deaths.

Likes: Seeing Justice done. His weapons, a successful mission.

Dislikes: Slavers, injustice, death of innocents.

Bio: Born on the Argonian colony of Methris, Argus was originally an outgoing young Argonian, until Dumner slavers attacked his home, killing many of his friends, and more importantly, his family. The bitter young Argonian joined the armed forces, and trained as an assassin, going on many missions for the Argonian government. Eventually, he discovered that the slavers hadn't actually been apart of the Dumneri military.

Realizing that he'd slain dozens of Dumner soldiers for simply doing their jobs, he left the army, becoming an independent contractor. For years, he took jobs for Imperial lords and the Aldmeri council, as well. However, during the past five years, Argus has been going after underworld kingpins, and removing them, cleaning up the galaxy one scumbag at a time, in penance for his past crimes. Recently, he's taken down several drug and slave smuggling gangs on There. His actions have earned him the hatred of every major drug lord, gang boss, and mercenary king pin in the Imperial sector. He departed for Eregin, hearing of conflict there, and more importantly, that several slaver groups had taken up residence on the heavily contested planet.

That's fine. I'll probably have Kyle, plus whoever else wants to, meet up with Argus.

Also, I like how you have him as a close combat guy. Interesting choice of weapons for an assassin.

'Stop it. You're being paranoid.' Apparently, the so far unidentified woman had him on edge more than he was willing to admit. He chuckled at his brief bout of paranoia, and took a seat in the pilots chair, activating the ships engines.

And that's when the giant, zombie-necromorph murderboss ripped his head off.:p

That would be kind of hilarious. Sorry, Drahkma. Anyways, I was going to point out on wednesday, that if you guys want to make some side-quest kind of things for your characters kind of like loyalty missions in ME2. Nothing that derails the story too much, just something like Drell had. His char is going after the slavers because he's been tracking them down, and intends to take them out one way or another.

This is a sort of what-if for me. Baroth, for those of you who don't know, is a hybrid. He is immortal and has a few pros and cons of his form. For a long story short, see his CC here. As i was saying, this is a what-if for me. Like, what if Baroth hadn't tirelessly searched for a cure? What if he just, gave up? Out lived his friends and merged into the future? What if the good intentional knight turned bounty hunter? I myself find that a VERY interesting question. Following one of the rules, i have MANY believeable reasons for Baroth to arrive on Cyris. And, seeing the current situation, it's going to have to be....dramatic.

Oh, and for those of you whom may be concerned, this will not affect my posting in FH or RAE2 in anyway, shape, or form. I am simply letting FH get a breath and waiting for RAE2 to get back on track. Either way, i am ready to join this party, but i can understand if i can't. But if i can, i will have my CC and intro post up tonight or first thing in the morning.
