...I don't think there's a limit, what would be the point? I think what people are saying is that there's 500 hours of gameplay; that is, as far as stuff to do...I think some of us have logged a lot more than 500 hours though. The game isn't infinite, at some point you're going to do everything there is to do, but that just means it's time to do it all over again.![]()
Not true...some troll thinking he's funny i guess.
I don't think it's a troll, I just think the OP misunderstood what people were saying. I actually typed it into google and got a lot of people saying that, but they weren't talking about a limit on one file, just the total amount of gameplay there is...I suppose someone has arrived at an average total play time available in the game. Don't know if that's one char, or if it's the total of all the quests, like both sides of the civil war and stuff.
me too, i did end up getting GOTY thoughWait, there was a limit in Oblivion? No one told me, and they also forgot to tell the game, I had at least two files that went well over 500 hours.

I saw this on the UESP forum. I understood and I misunderstood.
Turns out this was a real problem in Oblivion (the game completely fell apart after 500 hours) and some folks on the UESP forum were wondering if the same problem was going to occur in Skyrim...and if anyone had over five hundred hours on one character/save in Skyrim yet.
Sorry if this was a tempest in a teapot.
Well, seeing as how Devious is from the future, he probably did it in a week after release...
What would hypothetically happen if that were possible? I mean, would like my character just disappear when i reach 500 hours?
