Alteration perk "mage armour"

Sup people. Just wondering about the Perk Mage Armour.
When it says "no armour" does that mean I can't wear any boots or gloves? Or does it mean I have to wear robes, but with gloves and boots allowed?

clothing style boots and gloves, with no armour value, would be fine

If the inventry image say Light or Heavy Armour in the corner, then it doesnt count
You can get unarmour boots all over the place, but unarmoured Gloves are quite rare. However, Thalmor wear them, and they look really cool, so yet another reason to kill them on sight.
