Do you hoard momentos and whats your coolest and how do you display them?

I have kept every legendary named weapon I find, the daedric artifacts, the falmers right eye, the thamos horn, the dancers flute, the spoon fork, pre-patch copies of all my dragon priest masks, full sets of various books especially the entire 2920 series, lusty argonian, one of every spell book, letters, journals (ciecro's are still the funniest), the notched pickaxe, etc....

Only the Unique weapons/armor/jewellery

Ive got the weapons on my weapon racks in my Solitude home and the armor pieces and jewellery on the mannequins.

Yeah, i'm the same i keep the gear thats got the unique names, most of it is on display in my homes in Riften/Marketh/Whiterun, just started to collect the books as well as a little side project.

I wish there were busts and hand mannequins for helms, neclaces and rings on shelves it get tediuos arraigning those things.

Is there purchacable homes in Morthal and Falcreath?

I have bowls of jewels in every house I own too.

Don't think so mate only the 5 houses atm as far as i know

Well my current character is a wandering assassin for the dark brotherhood, and she rarely stays long enough at the sanctuary. So no, I get good gear and either disenchant it, sell it, or add it to my current weapons in place of something else (which will then later be enchanted).

All I Have Is the Golden Claw. I Had The Woman (Thieves Guild Mission Where You Collect Money From Merchants) That Was A While Ago And I Sold it Because It Was Heavy. On My Weapons Rack I Have My Long Used Dwarven Battleaxe And My barely initiated Ebony Battleaxe. Both legendary.
I Stole a Sword From The Whiterun keep And Hung it On My Wall As A Bit Of Arrogance.

That's All I Have On Display/ Quest Objects. I Didn't Think Other People Kept Items Like Me. I Do It With Weapons/Armor In Dragon Age And Two Worlds. And Of Course Oblivion. I Had The Grey fox Mash And Something Else On Display, Some Sort Of Crystal Ball.

collection of daedric artifacts, books of value, black soul gems, witches' heads (i dont know why), dragon claws, gems and jewellery and a random glowbug in a jar (saw it in a lighthouse and had to have it)...would have only collected a couple of things but it ends up being piles in the house of crap...i literally have glowing piles of soul gems (only grand and black) and potion piles, a room filled with staffs (i used to care about where they were in there but now they're all scattered because it's so tedious to place things) because 1. money isnt a concern anymore and 2. i have uncanny timing for getting into towns during the night...im such a hoarder

As an Orc War Hero I keep trophies from certain quests. In my newly appointed room in Jorrvaskr I keep my Wolf Armor on my Bed and in the display cabinets I have Wuufrund(sp) and two ordinary scimitars I minted up till Legendary and enchanted. One is a 20 point Frost Damage named Icingdeath and the other is a Soul Stealer that I called Twinkle. They look pretty epic laying crossed over in their. I still have to find a dagger worthy enough for the 3rd display cabinet. Perhaps Mehrunes Razor when I find it.

Also, I use my house in Whiterun for storage of junk I don't need. Being an Orc I figured he is quite messy. So after raiding Bandit Holds and Camps I dump all my wine/ale/spirits bottles on the floor so there is liquor all over the front of the house. Off in the kitchen you will find that my orc loves cheese and steals it whenever he sees it. There is a huge mound of cheese growing in my kitchen.

My potion room is filled with books I dump on the floor. There is literal piles of them. I wanted to read the story of Orcs and Orcsinium and it took me about 30 minutes to find it.

Upstairs in the quest room is where I keep my Dragon Bones, Scales, Skulls, and Pelt.

In my bedroom I started stacking all my ingots in nice clean piles but with the house bug I stopped doing that and it's just a big pile of ingots. I have a copy of the Lusty Argonian on my night stand :) You know, for that good bedtime reading. I also have some Clay Pots from the Sacred Tomb of Ysoralder.

The only thing that my Orc is a little OCD about storing is his Armor and Weapons, each in their own trunk.

Ha Ha funny thing is I just married Aela (*Alright, High-Five*) and I can't imagine her disgust when she moved in and saw the filth I live in, then again she did marry an Orc.

It's a shame you can't collect heads from enemies you decapitate. I'd have them around my house instead of skulls.

True, I was going to say you can pick them up but I guess you can't change screens with it.

you want marun dagon go to the museum in dawnstar for the quest

I like collecting staffs. They are my favorite, but only the good ones I like to display. I think I'm going to buy my second house so I can separate the good stuff from the garbage. I also have a good little pile of gold ingots laying around

LOL i do this constantly. I have about 10 centurion dynamo cores arranged on top of my bookcase (i mean come on...they spin and glow for god sakes) and i recently found a gold statue of Dibella and i was like heck yea this is gong as the centerpiece on my dining table and it looks great. Then I got to Markharth and one of the store vendors said she was missing a golden Dibella statue and i was like "LOL thats on my dining table, sorry lady it looks better there" Also troll skulls are cool. And unique weapons, i have wuuthrad on display right as you walk in my house and upstairs on a table i have dawnbreaker and the ebony blade on display too.

>.> <.< Pretty much everything that was different in game that i could find

Just off the top of my head:

Dragonbane
Notched Pickaxe
Worn Shrouded Armor
All the crystals of of that one dark elf that Uriel messed around with (too lazy and too stubborn to look it up)

i probably have 100k worth of stuff in my house simply because i dont need to sell it, i find enough gold elsewhere to worry about selling stuff. so it just collects. everything from books to potions to armor and weapons. hell i have one nightstand dedicated to just smithing items. another for dragon bones and gems etc.

Thats a good point I too, organize things by type, and I try to keep them in logical locations. For ease of explaining this I will use my home in Markarth. Just in side the door is a small urn thats unmovable I would have put keys here if they had let me drop them, but instead its filled with soul gem fragments.

There is a bowl with a candle at the start of that hallway where I have placed the Horn the jarl of Solitude gave me to place at a shrine of Talos (did it and picked it right back up).

across from that I placed a bowl you know the green and silver ones that look nice, In it I have nothing but Flawless gems.

The first end table next to the fire has Keys in it, stolen, made, given and taken doesn't matter if not needed for what I am doing there they are. The end table next to the mannequin has magical weapons in it, not uniques. those are in the bedroom first end table on the right. The mannequin is wearing my fully upgraded Blades Armor although I have some glich on it and everytime I return home it spawns a dragon scale armor and I switch them out for the Blades again and again... Across from the mannequin is a dagger display on a small dresser, Mahrun Dagon in the display and Potions in the dresser.

The book cases are full, but are alphabetically organized starting with my complete 2920 set and one shelf dedicated to one each spell book (found not bought)( I may have a half mil but i refuse to waste money)

the first bag in the door to the alchemy lab was emptied of fruit and filled with each recipe I can find. The apothocary bag has every ingrediant I find except daedra hearts cause I consider them more important for smithing.

on to the Enchanting room left display spider rod, daedric artifact shield, Saguines rose.
bottom center display Nightingales Bow,
next higher center display crafted bow I use for my hirelings daedric bow with stamina damage and paraletic properties

highest display Nightingales Blade, Daedric Shield, Daedric sword

First weapons display next to enchanting lab Malgog, Red Eagles Bane

Otherside of enchanting lab Staff of Storm Wall, Staff of Flame Wall

Shelves next to mannequin in main room: cleaned off of junk and filled with all the Claw keys I have collected so far.

In the Dining Room, on the dining table is a Statue of Diabella at the single chair and side table in the corner in the side table are all the books that wouldn't fit on the shelve sort of my own reading area. in the side table next to the hearth nearest the shelves with food items is all the food items I have collected in my travels in the dagger cases first one has a Blade of Sacrifice from the shrine of Beothetha, a Dragon priest dagger.

In the bedroom, the chest at the foot of the bed is always the smithing and misc items dealing with smithing and jewelry crafting I pick up in my travels. Ingots, ores, leathers, jewels, bones and scales and filled Grand soul gems and black soul gems First end table on the left of the door is full of collected scrolls. The next is full of stolen bits and pieces like the dancers flute The dagger display has my very first crafted dagger enchanted with soultrap. the weapon display above on left has the etherial weapons of Spellsteal axe and Heartsteal sword with a glass sheild enchanted with extra health the one over the bed has the Blade of the Reach and the Blade of Hjaalmarch with a ebony shield enchanted with fire protection
The dressing table next to the wardrobe has enchanted jewelry and empty jewelry, The wardrobe has all the various armors and clothing I have collected including the Emporers robes, party clothes, Nightingales armor fully upgraded, Shrouded Brotherhood gear. The last side table next to door has unique weapons, named and daedric princes stuff, example Dawnstar, etc..

And thats just how I have organized one of my houses
