OOC Black Reach Expedition

Name: Azaelia

Gender: Female

Race: Nord

Age: 22

Personality: I never share personalities; I just show it through my posts. :)

Description: She has very fair blonde hair, her eyes are a sparkling blue that have depths of sapphire more towards her pupils and towards the outer most region of her iris the blue is a silvery color. Most will never see her face because she always wears a helmet when she's interacting with others. She has pale skin, like most Nords, and is on the taller side rather than the shorter one. Regular type build, but she has more meat where it counts. ;) That's all I'm saying about her for now.

History (and personality) will be shown in the RP so read up if you want to know more! I promise I'll make it interesting~

As a fellow rper and someone who writes rps, I have to say keep up the good work guys. I rarely follow rps I'm not involved in but this one is engaging and I'm looking forward to see its next post everytime I read it. Good job.

Thank you! It's always nice to know that there are readers lurking about. Lets us know that someone else is enjoying the RP just as much as we are writing it! :)

It'll actually easier to keep this active because it is played by a group of close-knit active members. Plus, we use the OOC chat for our random banter. We can't just abandon that, now, can we?

I'm not your buddy, guy! :p

Idk you would have to ask Rek if you can join. We just recently recruited .ol0w0lo. so I am not sure if we have any more places.

I've been asked to post my character card here in the public OOC thread, so here it is.

Name: Brenda Soft-Voice
Age:18
Sex: Female
Race: Nord
Birthplace: Windhelm, Skyrim
Current Residence: Solitude, Skyrim
Alliances or Affiliations: Bard's College
Occupation: Bard, Historian, and Scholar
Equipment: Parchment, ink, quills, clothes of a civilian, and an old daggerforged from the finest of steels.
Appearance: 5' 8", 135 lb. Black hair at shoulder's height, eyes the color of emeralds. Smooth, soft skin, free of the typical scars and bruises found on the Nords of Skyrim.

Personality: Quite the intellectual, Brenda strives to be the best at everything she attempts. With a voice to match her beauty, she’s very outgoing and kind. She abhors death, wincing at the sight of a dead rabbit on the side of the road.

History: Brenda’s parents were taken from her when she was young. They were warriors who had fallen as prisoners to the Empire. She was ten years old, still new to the world and it’s mysterious ways. It was at such a tender age that Brenda learned how cold Skyrim was, both physically, and emotionally. During the years following her parents’ deaths, Brenda spent the vast majority of her time in the wilderness, singing the songs of her people, and of her youth. She often witnessed robberies, drug deals, and occasionally the stray assassin, searching for his mark. The girl matured quickly, having no choice but to do so while sleeping in the harsh wilderness surrounding Windhelm.

When Brenda was 16, just six years after the death of her parents, she finally managed to make her way out of the icy lands of Eastmarch and past Dawnstar. She found herself in a new, unfamiliar land, where the snow was not nearly as abundant. She could see boats in the distance, men scurrying along with large boxes, loading the ships. She looked above, seeing the vast range of mountains. But most importantly, the girl saw the Blue Palace.

The city of Solitude welcomed the girl with open arms. Almost. While the guard at the gates had taken pity on the girl, the citizens viewed her as street urchin. She had not a septim to her name, nor did she have a morsel to eat. She wandered into the inn in search of food and pity. She did not make it very far, however. Upon entrance, Brenda heard a familiar melody being strummed from a lute. As she hummed the melody, the words began to form in her head, and she soon heard herself singing the song at full volume, drowning out even the musician himself. The two had a short conversation about the song, and near the end, the Musician suggested that Brenda move along to the Bard’s college, where she could learn about the meanings behind the songs.

She remained at the college for a short time before realizing that there was nothing left for her to learn—no new material, no new heroes, no new songs, poems or folktales. The people of Skyrim were beginning to lose touch with their roots, becoming more focused on the present than their beginnings. And so, Brenda set out in search of adventure, hoping to find today’s hero, a man worthy of becoming immortal.
