Minstrel
Queen of Evil
Circe watched with red eyes as Donmjark and the small Argonian boy returned. She met the child's gaze twice and made no effort to make her appearance any less threatening. On the balcony the Jarl suddenly appeared and gave them a brief warning before disappearing out of view.
“Don’t fail”.
Circe laughed to herself. Don't fail. As if we would try to. These Jarls wouldn't last one minute outside of their precious cities.
Through the open doors of the palace Circe could feel a rough breeze lash out against her face and could just about see the darkening sky outside. Within half an hour the sky would be dark and the city would sleep. The thieves and murderers would rise from the shadows and take money and lives alike, while Vampires and Werewolves prowled around the walls and prayed on less wary travellers. That was life in Skyrim, something everyone had come to terms with.
"I suspect we will all be wanting sleep tonight as tomorrow will prove to be quite draining. The Winking Skeever will have plenty of room. I suggest we made out way there now."
The group began to shift, readying to make a move when Circe moved in a blur towards the other Vampire in the group. Grabbing his arm she pulled him outside and into the shadows of the city. She had done it in such a way that anyone else would have not even realised that it had been Circe in that blur. She pushed the man against a wall and pinned his shoulders against the stone of the Blue Palace. Her eyes had a sinister look about them and her fangs were now in full view of the man. She moved her face in close to his like she had done earlier and let here crimson eyes pierce his.
"I'm sorry." She said in a whisper. "I know you are not like the rest of out kind. Its just hard for me to accept that there are a few Vampires in the world who aren't evil."
She kissed the man on the cheek, and with that, rejoined the group as the made their way towards the Winking Skeever.
