concept idea, Dwarven Praetorian

As title says i had an idea for an elite dwarven automaton the praetorian now i dunno if you guys know, but i named it after the roman praetorian((royal guards)) kinda in honor of the naming of other automatons such as the centurion((a tough roman sergeant)) the praetorian is unique in one case. they are half organic and half automaton but completely indoctrinated to the dwarves they have a combination of all of the automatons....the versatility and speed of a sphere, the strength and endurance of a centurion and have virtually no weakness besides they're squishy bits which are guarded by ((destructable)) armor praetorians range from different races, are extremely rare. and differ in weapons. most are seen with massive halberds or swords((as i mentioned in versatility they also have range firepower to cannons/repeating mounted cross bows)) tell me what you think, thanks.

Id imagine it would be a named praetorian but yes, end dungeon boss, very very hard makes centurions look easy to kill praetorians are extremely relentless similar to spheres but much faster and they are utterly unpredictable in they're fighting styles however due to the dwarves gone, the praetorians have nothing left to guard. they once were used to guard dwarven nobles/kings now they roam Mindlessly similar to they're automaton kin. but as you mentioned can only be found in the dephs. where they closly guard what they did when the dwarves were alive. whether it be the resting place of the king/noble or his vast amount of richs or research.

Centurions were closer to the modern rank of captain in terms of importance, though the variation in importance was considerable ( especially in peacetime). At the low end they were compable to the British Regimental Sergeant Major.

Another thing id like to mention is that they wear very creepy dragon priest-ish masks dwarven style giving off the sense of pain and agony they're in and what horrible torture and experiments they had to endure to become praetorians. such as metal masks with faces of horror/sadness/anger ETC. but if the mask is damaged, it shows the horrible grotesque merger of flesh and metal that they have become kinda sotha sil'ish
