PC Death After Load

So I am running into a bit of a situation. Before I go on to explain I will just put a TL;DR right below for those who may already know the answer. Otherwise I will explain in full below that.

TL;DR: Everytime I load a save, all my magicka and health drains away super quick and I die, even when in pause menu, inventory menu, etc. All I ever noticed was some green wisp coming off my body as I became a pile of ash.

Long Version:

So I was just about to finish the Eye of Magnus quest for the mages guild and was entering the Hall of Elements. After I entered it became apparent that something glitched because Tolfdir was being retarded and just staring at me yelling "What are we waiting for?!!?". I tried changing stages and whatnot but nothing worked. So I tried reloading a save earlier. This is where my problem started. As soon as it loads, some green foggy wisp starts rapidly coming off my body, sucking out all my health and magicka which kills me in about a second. I tried loading earlier saves and it appears to work fine. The problem is, my last save is several quests BEFORE the Eye of Magnus. Is there a way to fix this so I don't have to do this all over again?

I've had that happen with stamina before, but never health or magicka. Have you tried looking in your magic and seeing what active affects you have. I can't remember what I did to fix it. Think I used my bow maybe... Potions only helped temporarily.

I can't access that. Everytime when I access a menu (Even the pause menu) it suddenly "unpauses" and I am dead.

Are you playing on PC? If so, quickly hit the ~ key and type tgm

That will put you in "God Mode" --- maybe you can at least check your Active Effects to see if there is a lingering effect that's killing you.

Forgot to reply to this. Even activating tgm does not protect me from whatever is killing me. I don't know what to do still.

If tgm doesn't work, you could try tfc 1, if you're quick on the ~ key. That activates the free camera, and freezes all action, so it may freeze your death too. I've never tried to access the active effects, but I have accessed my weapons and armor, and have been able to change armor while still frozen, successfully. It may or may not work for tfc 1 also. When you're done, open console and hit tfc (without 1) and it will return you to action.

Ok, I just went in game and checked it out, and was able to access both active effects and potions, so maybe you can quickly hit ~ use tfc 1 and see what's causing it, then take healing and fortify health potions to help put a stop to it, cure poison, etc.

If you don't have that, in console type help and then the name of the potion, then use player.additem (potion ID number) and how many you want.

If it doesn't show up in active effects, and healing, cure poison potions don't stop it, maybe try coc whiterunbanneredmare or someplace relatively safe.

Unfortunately, both of these are next to impossible. Even if I am able to open console and type these commands, the GUI will automatically close after a certain time and I will be instantly dead. I guess I will have to just revert to a really early save at this rate. :/
