I talked to the elf and give him a few things, I then talked to the woman in the stables and hopped on the carriage and went into the embassy. After I went into the embassy my quest log said to talk to Malborn, but when I looked at my map, it showed him moving to different spots on the southern part of the map. I can create the distraction with the drunk and the bartender, but I can't follow Malborn up of the stairs because he isn't there and the door doesn't open. I don't have a save close to where I am now so I would appreciate any help! Thanks.
