Dragon not coming to dragonreach

Ok so I am on the great porch at dragonreach using dragon call, it says objective complete right after but the dragon just flies around. I watched YouTube videos and mine works differently

Game is on a ps3. I have tried reloading from different save point. And am using most updated patch


It's not how we fall which defines us but how we rise after falling

I don't know if you knew, but you have to use dragonrend on the dragon so he can land on dragonsreach. After that just walk inside and the dragon will follow you. If that doesn't work I'm afraid it's a glitch and I dot know how to solve it.

Hi! Here's what happened to me.
After Balgruuf was all, sure let's go to my palace, I fast traveled. I went to the porch, and the marker was there BUT
You have to wait for Balgruuf to make his way to the porch also. Then he talks to you, and the other men pop up...
And then you can call Odahviing and fight him till he lands (or just dragonrend, I did not even think of that) and Boom! Done.
So, just Wait for an hour or so, because Balgruuf is walking all the damn way back from High Hrothgar. He does not fast travel.
