Dragonborn for Ps3 is so d*mn broken.

Just got the DLC with the little money I had left, cause I was really looking forward seeing good ol' Morrowind again, along with riding dragons and new equipment and shouts, it seemed really fun. Till it broke. I'm at the quest "Cleansing the stones", and had just finished my third stone, but when I tried to cleanse the 4th stone, it didn't work. No matter what I tried, nothing would work. So unfortunately I had to go back to a save that was before I went through the dungeon so I could go get the Bend Will shout. I made sure to save after that, and then all was well, I even got the water stone to work, but then the sun stone didn't work (Insert tableflip here) and now my only saves are just before I do anything with the sun stone, but no matter what I try, it won't f*****g cleanse. Just bought the d*mn thing and I already can't play it. Any solutions at all? I'm fuming a bit right now, considering I payed my own d*mn money to Bethseda and they hand me a broke piece of pl*ps.

Well I'm on PS3 and I've had no issues whatsoever. Although, I haven't touched the Main Quest stuff yet, but I have discovered every location and done the rest of the quests on the island and experienced no problems.

Except for an issue where I couldn't get Ahzidal's Armour due to buggy puzzles.

You're one of the few lucky ones; I've been noticing a lot of people having a lot of problems with this DLC. I'm just so frustrated that not only did I spend what little money I have to get a broken product, but also that they even released it in such a broken state.

This is why I'm not really recommending DB to people unless they're on PC. With PC, we have mods to fix things or make them better, but PS360 players are royally screwed.

I'm sorry you're not enjoying it as much as you could. I had my share of glitches as well even on PC. Maybe you could find an old save file and try a fresh run or download a save file from someone and see if it works better?

I haven't run into that issue yet luckily.

I actually just beat miraak the dragon born this morning!

I'm not surprised there are so many bugs with this at this stage. We all (at least those of us who were left waiting since the release of the first DLC for microsoft console/pc) expected there to be issues. PS3 is supposedly THE worst console to code games for and there was a huge drama with getting ANY of the DLCs out for PS3 whatsoever (didn't the devs come outright and say that if they released anything it would be game-breaking buggy?).

I am kinda bummed since I paid for the DLC and I've had issues too (it made it so my character can't go upstairs or walk up hills), but at least a DLC is actually out for us and there will probably be fixes for it soon.

In the meantime, for anyone playing and having issues, my advice is to SAVE, and SAVE, and SAVE again. I know it does look neater on your load screen to have only ONE save game, but really, don't do this if you're using this DLC. Have multiple saves. Do something, save, do something else, make a different save, and do something else, make yet another. This way you have two or three different check points to go back to if something glitches and it's glitched before you saved (but you didn't realise until after). The second time I had the "walking through walls/floods" bug happen (after having to restart the game from starting character), I was able to go back to an earlier save and luckily, when I repeated the quest that caused the bug, it didn't occur again. I save every five to ten minutes just to be safe now, and I have three different saves to fall back on.

I know it isn't very useful advice to those who are already far into their game and the glitches have broken things already, but to those who are starting out or thinking of buying this, it might be useful to know. Hope it's fixed soon.

For some reason, the shout you use in cleansing the stones complains with 'You need dragon souls to use a shout', or similar. All other shouts work fine.

Is this a bug, or a particular of this quest?

So far everything has been progressing pretty smoothly for me since putting both Dragonborn and Hearthfire on my PS3. It's weird how they seems to affect people using the same system so differently.

Did you use a dragon soul to activate the shout after you learned it?
