Xbox 360 Elder Scroll Storage

Well, you can't store Elder Scrolls because they are quest items. Black Books you can store anywhere that you own, like in a house.

I'm not sure and am wondering the same thing. I have found that I am unable to get rid of the scrolls at all because they are quest items, even though I've finished the quests I needed them for.

Oh no, you cqn't drop them but since they are quest items, I don't think they affect Weight.v

I know if you want to get rid of them, in Dawnguard you can sell the scrolls for 6000 gold.

ya Dragonborn is done and so are all the black book quest. all the books and scrolls are 20LBS each and take up alot of space. maybe they just didnt think of it, i was hoping there would be a place like the college of winterhold where someone would buy them from you and keep them all safe but that guy bulgrof wont even buy the elder scrolls again now

Go to Dexius, he has a dialogue option if you beat the questline that he wants the Elder Scrolls. YOu could donate them, or sell them.

Depends on what side your on. If you allied yourself with Dawnguard, he is walking around the fort. If with the Vampires, I assume Castle Volkhair.

I sided with the vampires, so i searched the castle and he's not there. was he part of the dawnguard or part of a different organization?

Well I looked it up, and if you are on the vampire side, he stays at the castle and is your servant, he won't take your scrolls unless you join Dawnguard.

Doesn't work like that. If you already joined the Vampires and completed the quest, you can't switch sides. YOu're stuck with them I'm afraid.

The scrolls may weigh 20pds but since they are tagged as quest items they dont go against your carry weight even though you've finished the quest line for them.

I compared my carry weight before and after I sold all 3 elder scrolls and it was the same. I thought it was taking up 60pds of space but no go.

I didn't think it went against my carry weight, I am just annoyed that I have to scroll through them when I'm looking at my books. I try to keep my inventory clean so I hate having things that I don't need and can't use. I don't think I want to sell them, so I'll just hang onto them!

thanks for the help guys, i agree now that i know it doesnt affect my carry weight its more of an annoyance than anything. maybe they will make a new DLC where you need them or a place you can put them on display. one can hope
