I know it's too early to think ahead, but I'm just curious and I'm sure many others are, too. Where do you think The Elder Scrolls 6 will take place? Will you be able to travel through all of Tamriel? Or perhaps it might be set in Cyrodil, High Rock, Summerset Isles, Hammerfell, Black Marsh, Valenwood or Eslweyr. Personally, I think as the game will be on the future generation consoles, they'll be able to be much more flexible. I believe that you will get to be at a different province which depends on the races you choose. This could make the game and replay value huge! Who knows.

Feel free to vote in the poll.
You Didnt Put Again Next To Cyrodil. Cyrodil Was The Setting For Oblivion

Voted for Valenwood because everything I've read about it sounds awesome, I mean migratory trees... please?

In my opinion, the game will have something to do with the Aldmer and the thalmor in particular because of the events that took place in Skyrim. I think the game will have something to do with an invasion of the summerset isles by nords and maybe even by the empire or other races not allied with the thalmor. That leads me to think the next addition will take place within the summerset isles. What do you guys think the next game will entail?

Id love to see either High Rock or Eleswyr. Ive always used bretons, and would love to see the homeland. As for Eleswyr, who wouldnt want to roam around a tropical jungle/desert?

i think valenwood would at least be visually ideal. all the lore about the giant migrating trees housing cities paints a particularly interesting picture. then one would consider travel from tree to tree/ city to city. but also im torn between hammerfell and black marsh; partly because i think the desert environment would be interesting as well, and black marsh for the hists. but valenwood would definitely be first choice

Well, where ever the next one takes place, we can all be sure that it will still be a great game with tons of cool content. But the only bad thing is, we need to wait another 2 and a half to 3 years for it to come out, if it follows the pattern. Bethesda won game of the year in 2005 for morrowind and again in 2008 for oblivion and 2011 for skyrim. So maybe it will come out in late 2013 to early 2014, IF Bethesda has no other big projects they're working on.

Valenwood would be the logical next-step in the Empire VS Dominion war. It's a boarder land between The Imperial Heartland of Cyrodiil and the Dominion's capital territory of Summerset Isle. It is an unwilling supplicant of The Dominion, taken in an overnight coup.

It would be the perfect area for a proxy war between The Empire and The Dominion.

Well, I suppose it will have to do with the empire and Ulfric Stormcloak making a truce until the dominion is taken care of.(IF that's even possible) Even if the nords can push the thalmor away from skyrim, it wouldn't be permanent. I think that part of the story will continue. Maybe it will have to do with renegades in the cyrodiilian army taking the rallying troops from other nations and taking the fight to the thalmor and the dominion....

I think if more people read "A Dance in Fire", they'd be more eager for Valenwood. It's as alien and wondrous a place as Morrowind, maybe more. Cities of crystallized amber, buzzing mimic creatures.

I really hope to see it fully realized in a game at some point.

I agree that Valenwood would be nice, but I don't think it ties into the existing story at this time. There are many openings for a continuation of the story about fighting the aldmeri dominion, and Skyrim itself freeing itself from the thalmor presence. Whether this will be resolved by an upcoming DLC, i don't know. But it's part of the story I think should be continued. I am interested to see what will be done with the thalmor, will other nations band together and fight the dominion? Or will Skyrim and the Empire forge an uneasy alliance to push them back to the summerset isles and ensure they will never again trouble Tamriel? Plenty of opportunity to create an awesome story there, in my opinion.

Looking at a map of Tamriel (checked a few online to compare), it looks like a combination of Elseweyr and Valenwood would be a similar size to Skyrim. Possibly a combination of those two And if they wanted to be adventurous and expand their horizons... Summerset Isles are just to the West and Black Marsh just to the East...

I think Elsweyr is a good shout considering they have dropped a few hints in skyrim, but you know what bethesda are like. I do like the Idea of Elswyr as well, deserts and tropical forests would look really cool plus these mountains and cold winds are getting to me. :D All of Tamriel would be cool, but I think thats wishful thinking, you never know though, besides it will most likely be on a new console and the new console might be able to handle something of that magnitude.
