Elswyr Fondue

A very well hidden strongbox and book (I think it was a skill book) just outside the main entrance to Bleak Falls Barrow. After 3000+ total hours in Skyrim (and 100++ runs through BFB) I never knew about that until my brother found it in his game. :eek:

OMG WHAT????????????????? I NEVER SAW THIS

OMG FOUND IT
Ya really have to look, don't ya? I heard about this a few months ago (at the same time I heard about the 2 xtra chests at the end of Bleak Falls) and it took me forever to locate it. Pretty cool when you discover something new! :)

I knew about the two chests at the end of Bleak falls Barrow, but I'm gonna start looking for the hidden strongbox. Sounds like it'd be a fun little side adventure.

I found out a couple weeks ago that you can swing the pickaxe at an ore deposit like a sword 9 times and you'll get the same result as if you would use it normally.

Also hitting an enemy with a torch gives you Destruction exp.

torch gives Destruction XP interesting

I didn't discover this myself, I watched part of a Let's Play but I didn't know it. It turns out if you make Harkon wait too long when you are trying to make up your mind about refusing or accepting his gift, he gets fed up with you and throws you out of the castle as if you picked no. Apparently vampirism is only available to those capable of making decisions within two minutes.

That's pretty funny. Impatient much?

I remember seeing this somewhere (Froki's shack I think?), where if you look at the shelf, the cheese is arranged to look like Pac-Man.

Just realized for the first time that there is an entrance to Solitude under the natural bridge that drops you right next to the marketplace... I've been going the long way this whole time. Grrrrrrrr.

I just now learned that if you go to where the maps of Skyrim are that are involved with the civil war, you can interact them and have places on your map shown if you had never visited them before.

So, like, if you go upstairs in Dragonsreach early on in the game, you can scope out their map, and get the locations of a bunch of stuff.

I had no idea maps with markers were interactive like that.

I just now learned that somewhere around the icy waters below the College of Winterhold, there are two skeletons. One skeleton is sitting there on the ice dejectedly, with his elbows on his knees. In front of him is a decapitated skeleton and a bear trap. No words needed on that story! Inside a satchel is a skill book, "Mannimarco, King of Worms", which I don't think I've ever seen before!

Aw, why did you remind me of those skeletons.. they make me really sad every time I bump into them ;w;

If you find the Dragonstone before visiting Balgruuf then Delphine will show up in the city but she'll be in her dress instead of her armor.
