Falmers vs. Mages

Is it just me or are Falmers impossible for mages to beat. Stoneflesh or something of the sort is definatly necessary I've noticed that you're better off using firebolt instead of fireball against them. Anyone else?

Try getting your Sneak up. They're blind as a bat so you may be able to just quietly dodge them entirely. Atronach summons are particularly useful in aiding spell casting, as well as casting Illusion spells. Make sure to Unrelenting Shout as well

 

[Smoke&Death]

I use a mixture of shock and atronach conjuring. Seems to work. Unless a Chaurus turns up. Then running works.
