If you fast travel she should be right next to you. Other than that, I have no idea how to help

Yeah just wait for a while, she should come back. Also, you can have Barbas(dog, look him up), Vigilance(another dog, bought at Markarath stables), and a follower at the same time. You can also have some sort of summoned companion, whether it be from magic or questline rewards. I think on top of those 4, you may also be able to bring in a "Special friend" you got for getting far in the main questline.

Already had her she died in skirmish against Imperial Guards in Solitude. The same day playing I lost my wife using her as a companion I killed her lol. And poor Lydia bless her soul I lost her so long ago I bet her body is still in Dwemer Ruins.

I lost 2 companions to those bloody Dwemer Ruins! Pain in the butt.

My wife's issue is: She had Jordis as a follower, then she disappeared somehow, and can't find her anywhere! So now we can't ask anyone else to become a follower because the game still thinks she is there. Any advice??? THX
Already tried Fast travel, revisted lost area, and original pick up location Solitude house. Nothing works so far.

Are you on PC? You can open console and type


player.moveto a2c95

000a2c95 is her actual REF ID, but you shouldn't need the leading zeroes.
That should put you near her.

You can also do

prid a2c95
moveto player

to bring her to you. Don't use player.placeatme, though, as it will spawn a copy of her, not bring the actual Jordis to you.
