Okay guys, I have a friend, and she loves, SHE LOVES, elder scrolls; One thing that bugs her as she says, is the hair, she thinks that the hair is too bland and just painted on, she thinks it should be flowing and look alot better, with bangs and all that stuff, she wants your hair to move and when you're fighting your hair gets all messy and after your character moves the hair back into how it was, or like when it's raining your hair becomes all wet and straight stuff like that, only reason why i am here now is cause she won't shut up about it XD so, I am hoping that maybe, some one from the Elder Scrolls development team sees this, and maybe releases a DLC, with better hair, as i write this now, she is still talking about the hair, i am watching the how to dvd from the collectors edition, she just keeps going..and going..and going about the hair, so please, for the sake of my ears, and the sake of better looking people (in her opinion) make better hair, in my opinion, and as a Norse Pagan, I love the hair, i don't mind, the braids, the long hair, long hair with braids, more braids, etc etc it's all good to me, but to some, the hair is a really big difference in the character creation. so please, maybe, just one day, release a better hair dlc for consoles, i know that pc will have mods, and i am not sure if consoles will ever get mods, SO! i hope ya'll can understand my plea.

Ok first of all... I don't condone this kind of behavior lol. I think that Bethesda has done a great job with what they have given us. Also, that is REALLY asking for a lot. I did however put yes because I am all for forward progression and I know (because it's been done in the past for both Morrowind and Oblivion if I remember correctly) a MOD will surface before too long with hair/eye/face/texture/angle improvement. Some already have. So YAY for forward momentum, but don't be greedy.

I agree, it's just she just keeps talking and talking and i wanted her to see others opinions and yeah, if there's anything for physical appearance coming up. I really like the current hair, it's viking and it's awesome, i just wish others understood it as well XD

The hair does look like crap, but if the hair was "flowing" and divided into individual strands resource consumption would be insane. Keep in mind this is, in essence, a console title.

It should have been an option, though, so I put yes.

I've see console only games do a good job on rendering hair. So don't use that excuse.

Were they open world games? Skyrim has a buttload of things to render (in 1080p) which puts a lot of stress on a console... of what games do you speak?

The hair isn't really that terrible to begin with, considering only a few people would even pay attention to it during gameplay.

I didn't realize we were talking about body hair... yes those are some beautiful flowing locks right there... >,>
No, what I'm saying is Skyrim does an acceptable job of rendering hair given the circumstances of its creation.

Sigh... it was a joke. Back to your lively discussion about HAIR... ._.

EDIT: And yeah, it does. I do agree.

I caught the joke, but I thought you were being sarcastic with the "beautiful flowing locks" thing. Hard to derive character from text.

XD now having body hair variations would be have been crazy.. hahahahha omg that would be freakin crazy, i hope they release mods for consoles, that would be really awesome, if not then, we are still going to have to deal with the awesomness that's already skyrim.

Oh? So you mean that what the board could really use is 1200 different screenshots of female dark elves named things like "Blair Wyche" with so much Yeti-like body hair that their owners go broke buying full suits of Daedric plate to replace the one the character is already wearing under there?

Can we at least save that gallery for after they do the Witty Facial Expressions and Annoying Hand Signal mods? Being able to make the character wink and do the double gun gestures and Lynndies in the photos is what's going to make them priceless. Oh wait that last one's gotta wait for the cigarette mod :)
