Heavy Armor has always looked more detailed and Excellent but however over the years I felt more accustomed to Light Armor due to better mobility.

Light Armor is what I like more, Daedric, Ebony, Orcish, Dragonplate does look sweet in this game but I prefer the Light Armor, may not look JUST AS COOL but it does better results and end game Dragonscale can size up against Daedric in Armor Rating Comparison.

Heavy armor for me. As of right now my character doesn't use a shield. Healing spell and one hander. I compensate for this with heavy armor

Same with me, heavy armor all the way. Right now, my character is using either flames or shock (once I get better destruction spells I'll use them) and a one-handed weapon. I use heal when I need.

I prefer light armor, mostly because I travel a lot by foot, and also because I am a sneaky mofo.

Tanks need heavy armor to be tanks. I've always preferred the way heavy looks and and it has always fit my redguard best.

Heavy def wins the looks pageant. Dragonscale and Elven is the only sets that really look good from Light Armor, the regular leather set isn't bad neither.

Never seen it yet, I haven't gotten into many quests but a few daedric quests and random grinding atm trying toget what exactly what I want to play for the 2nd week now of playing it or so and i found it.

I have to agree with Ebony Knight; I think once you see Nightingale you will fall in love like I did. I used the Ebony Mail from a daedric quest along with full ebony for the matched set perk bonus until I stumbled across this jewel. In the end, even on master difficulty the type of armor you use does not matter once you hit level 40+. With the appropriate perks both armor types provide enough defense to compensate for any type of physical damage you will be taking and neither will hinder your method of play. Personally my method of play is to charge in dual wielding while out in the open and sneak around dual wielding and assassinate people in dungeons because closed spaces tend to be easier to creep in. I used Nightingale light armor for all occasions ^_^

I've always preferred light in TES, because it means I can carry more loot (pre-perk). And I've got a thing for dwemer cogs and gyros, so I can use all the weight/space I can get. Also, the light armor is the first that starts being re-coloured purple by modders. I've now got purple glass and purple Nightingale. Hooray!

Guesss it really depends onm your character. In my case, I mostly use hand to hand (2 handed) combat. So, I use Heavy Armor. But an 'assasian' would favor light armor.

Heavy armor with the perk that makes it weigh nothing and doesn't hinder movement. Best of both worlds :)

And Swordsmansmith makes a point. Once you get the heavy armor perk where it doesnt hinder movement, well then it could work with almost any character.

I guess it's just based on what you like and what your used to.

I think it depends on what race you are, and how you have your player setup, true? If you are a High Elf with emphasis on magic, I would not go with heavy armor. If I were a Nord? Slash and bash all the way with heavy armor o' plenty! ;)

Battle mage in yo face. ^.^

Light Armor, stamina depletes slower, faster stamina regen, the armor rating is not that far behind if done correctly, less noise more sneak.

Excellent to see it's an even community between the two armors, what kept from Heavy Armor stealth was because I thought everybody did Heavy Armor and I kinda wanted to steer from the thoughted Heavy Armor fanbase.
