Ugh, my answer is gonna make me look so old..... so I'll try to youth it up abit.
When I was the ripe age of -3, I started my first job at a store called "Media Play" (Don't think they are around anymore) and was placed in a Department that had very minimal software and utilities for computers (Our Biggest Seller was something that was going to REVOLUTIONIZE the gaming market called the 3D0!... if you remember that thing.. You get a High Five from me...and my condolences)
We had "1" copy of Elderscrolls: Arena and it sat on our selves for months. When one of my co-workers finally told me what it was in a kind of "Pfft, stupid game Idea" type of attitude I had to try it. It was the Most involving, deep, engaging game ever made for it's time. It even felt more so than Skyrim today because it WAS the First "First-person" sandbox Fantasy world ever made. You had your Ultima's but nothing was vast as TES. It was the "Direction" I was so happy to see that computer games could go.
So I'm an old time fanboy.
Of course, I never finished the main quest in Arena,
or Daggerfall. (but loved it even more)
Never owned Battlespire because I thought Bethesda was just going the way of "Other One-Horse Show FPS Dungeon games" (I was kind of wrong about that)
Found out about "Redguard" alittle too late to even find it to play.
Loved Morrowind but didn't finish it till I installed it again a few years later, but still never finished Bloodmoon.
Loved Oblivion, and completed everything upto "The Shimering Isle" (Shimering Isle was just too wierd to me to pay attention)
