I just found out i could rename items if i enchant them, i thought this only happened on PC.

No, you're not stupid, you just didn't know. I found out recently that there was a quick way out of Saarthual... :\

Renaming helps a lot with organization and identification. Mjoll's this, Mjoll's that, crafting xyz, archery xyz, etc

Especially if you carry a few sets of light armor

We all learn different things over time with more game play. I learnt that the books you want to read for skills are worth over 50 gold. So much easier to pass over lesser valued ones on a crowded bookshelf.

I recently found out that there was a Fast-Travel-point for the Soul Cairn at the Volkihar Balcony.
Took me about 20 minutes to find it again, but that was so worth it.

As others have said, don't feel dumb at all. It took me forever to figure out how to use the Wait command on console.....lol

Also, someone once suggested using a simple character in front of your renamed item (. - + and so forth); that way all your created items will be organized easily in your inventory list.

Fyi... If you are in to naming your equipment, beware of weapon racks and mannequins... I've had them strip the name before more than once.

Hey, I only just learned how to access the things I had equipped as Favorites (only had a few hundred hours of gameplay under my belt with items equipped as favorites and no idea how to access the menu)...and someone had to teach me that.

You should have seen my friend laughing his ass off watching me add a favorite, then trying to access it again and jumping up in the air instead

I think pretty much all of us had one of those moments whether we'll admit it or not

Don't worry man, some things like that just simply aren't very obvious.

I personally think it's a bit weird/obnoxious that you can't name your weapons unless giving them a reliance for soul gems, but what can you do.

You don't have to recharge it

You're right, of course you don't HAVE to recharge it.

I however, am the kind of guy who can't stand seeing the "this weapon does not have enough charge" or whatever message pop up every time I hit something.
And like-wise, I don't like walking around with a bag full of soul gems.

Maybe that's just me though.
