Immortal Words - Saurano Direnni

Mournhold - Night

I'm holed up in the storage rooms of the royal palace basement. My reputation is out of control.

When my ship from Sadrith Mora landed in Ebonheart, a guard immediately attacked me as I stepped off. I had to kill him and three more guards, plus the captain of the guard, just to reach the castle doors.

Once inside I quickly found Asciene Rane and had her teleport me to the palace in Mournhold. She was quick to warn me of the bounty on my head, which is apparently over thirteen thousand drakes at this point. More gold than I have to my name.

So I arrived in the palace and immediately was forced to avoid several guards while on my way to the storage rooms. I needed a safe place to hide out and think and plan my next move. Obviously I want the king's blood on my hands, but obviously I'll never gain an audience with him as long as there's a price on my head.

I need to find a way to take care of all this, and for now, that means hiding out and staying out of sight until the frenzy over me has died down.

Mournhold - Night

I've spent three days in hiding so far. There's nothing to do down here but eat and stare at the stones. Luckily there is a good food supply, but I'm going crazy from the boredom.

I'm going to try and hold out for a few more days and then we'll see if things have cooled down or not. For my sanity's sake, I hope they have.

Ebonheart - Night

It's been several more days and I finally ventured out today. I was doing my best to be careful but a guard still spotted me and declared that I had a death warrant on my head. I've heard of this before. A death warrant means you will be killed on sight, no questions asked.

I tried to defend myself against the guard, but he was a very talented fighter, and worse yet, when I nearly had him dead he simply cast a powerful healing spell on himself. I heard another guard coming to assist him, and that's when I knew I had to flee or face certain death.

With the guards slashing at my back I tried to make it back to the cellars. My hope was that I could lose them there, or at least head into the sewers and lose them that way. But I took a wrong turn and ended up running directly into the guard barracks. I couldn't have made a worse mistake.

The captain of the guard was staring at me like I was insane. Maybe I am. Either way, I wasn't going to stick around to test his abilities. As he drew his sword I put a table in between us and sprinted for the nearest door.

The courtyard. I quickly got my bearings as I heard yet another sword being drawn nearby. I ran to the door I knew to lead to the reception area, and thankfully it was clear of guards. Only for the moment, though. I knew it was only a matter of seconds before they would be back on me.

I grabbed Effe-Tei by his robes and told him to transport me back to Vvardenfell at once. His fumbled around but managed to cast the spell before a sword pierced my back.

Back in Ebonheart, I worked my way through the streets, avoiding a number of guards. The docks were the trickiest. Two guards were on patrol and they seemed quite on the alert. They were also both patrolling the dock I needed to access.

But eventually, after a good amount of time and effort, I found my way aboard the ship I knew was heading to Vivec. I had to bribe the captain to take me on, but a few hundred gold later and I was tucked safely below. We should be setting sell within the hour.

Balmora - Night

So it should be said that in my days of boredom in the cellar I had an idea. My father had told me a story once, of how he had stolen a sacred goblet from a noble, and in the process had been forced to kill the noble's son and several guards. The bounty placed on his head was steep, and it really hindered his ability to conduct business. For that matter, it made some of his employers nervous to even use him anymore.

The solution that he stumbled across one night, was the thieves guild. While on the road in the middle of the night, on the run from guards at the nearest village, he had come across a khajiit who he assumed was a highwayman. Now the khajiit probably was, but with great sensibility he recognized my father's confidence and knew that great skill was backing it up. So rather than attempting to rob my father, he instead suggested he seek out a particular thieves guild member in a particular club in the town of Balmora.

My father did just that, and with the parting of a good bit of coin had his name cleared by the thieves guild. I had been struggling to remember the thief's name, and on my last day in the cellars it had come to me. Phane. Last name unknown.

I knew it was possible that Phane was still somewhere in Balmora, and also possible that he would remember my father. I could only hope that it was possible he still had enough pull to clear my warrant, and that my supply of gold would be enough.

So after being smuggled to the outskirts of Vivec, I bribed the local silt strider owner with three hundred gold to take me to Balmora. And low and behold, in the South Wall Cornerclub, I met a man by the name of Phane. And he offered to clear my death warrant.

The catch, aside from parting with more than nine thousand in gold, was that I would need to visit Council Club in Balmora. There I would find the seediest and most valuable members of the Camona Tong, and I would assassinate them all. If I did this, I would walk away nearly broke, but with no bounty on my head.

I'm headed to the Council Club now .. and I'm bringing death with me.

Balmora - Morning

I walked right into the Camona Tong and started killing. No formalities. I just walked through the front door with my sword ready and cut down the first dunmer in my path. With the sentry dead I made my way downstairs.

There were five more standing around looking slightly puzzled at my presence. I changed their looks when I stabbed the nearest of them. All five drew weapons on me and I took them all on at once. Spinning and dodging and striking, I rendered each of their lives to the abyss.

With five bodies growing cold I made my way outside to the steps that led to the roof. On the roof I found the last two Camona Tong members, and deftly put them to rest.

As I left the building a guard was waiting. He had heard the fighting and come to investigate. But when he saw it was me he attacked without hesitation. As I battled with him another guard showed up. I bested them both, but not after a lengthy fight that required my use of a powerful health potion.

I returned to Phane and informed him that the Camona Tong operatives were dead, all eight of them. He didn't acknowledge that, but asked for the gold and gave me the forged paperwork to clear my name.

And now to return to Mournhold, and take to the path of a king's assassination.

Mournhold Sewers - Night

I'm doing my best to play both sides against each other. The royal court wants me to find out who is responsible for the rumors about King Llethan's death being of unnatural causes. The temple officials want me to look into the goblin army that King Helseth is purported to be amassing.

So far I've gotten wind of a publication call The Common Tongue, and I managed to find a copy of it on the ground behind a vendor's hut. I'll be taking that back to the king's captain, but not until after I'm done investigating the sewers a bit. I don't want to play my cards too quickly.

I've run across several goblins already, and while they could have been down here all along, I'm also now within earshot of a group of men that the goblins were not harassing. In fact, my suspicion is that they were protecting the perimeter of this meeting of men. A perimeter than is now cold and dead of course, which may be the fate of the men ahead of me depending on how they react to me.

One note of a side occurrence. While in the bazaar today a wizard appeared out of then air and proclaimed he was going to bring the city to it's knees. He looked directly at me and exclaimed that he would make me an example first, so that all should be in fear.

I cut him down in two easy strokes, and while his spells of magic absorption had no real effect on me. I wouldn't mention it except something wasn't right about the situation. I can't help but feel that there is something more to come of this.

Mournhold - Midday

The men in the sewers were not the king's men and knew nothing about a goblin army. They were simply some scum that run a gambling ring out of sight of the law. They actually had a man in their possession who was in debt to them, and they offered to release him to me for three thousand drakes. First, I don't have that much coin anymore. Second, I could care less about this man who owes a debt to these other vermin. Although I do know a man in Mournhold who is looking for this fellow. I could mention what I saw to him and perhaps earn a few coins for myself.

My contact at the temple was less than impressed with my foray into the sewers. I reported on the goblin activity but he apparently wants me to do more. I'm not even being paid. I'm a sword for hire, not a sword for the common good. He'll be lucky if I don't run him through for his attitude.

I'm on my way to the palace now to see if my information on the pamphlet is enough to get me an audience with the king. I've since learned that the king will not be as easy to kill as I had hoped, and not because of the roomful of capable fighters either. I was already leery about killing the king and escaping the room, but I felt I could pull it off using my amulet of shadows to escape. However, this new information I've come across changes things. The king apparently has two charmed items he wears at all times. The first is a robe, that has the ability to reflect magical effects back onto the aggressor. That means the frost enchantment on my sword, if used against the king, will actually harm me instead. Not good. And more perplexing, the king has a ring as well, with a constant healing enchantment. I don't know how powerful the enchantment is, but I need to assume it's a robust enchantment.

The ring is a real problem. My plan was to attack and kill the king, and then escape the palace and find smuggled passage to Skyrim or Cyrodiil. But this ring means that killing the king could potentially take a fair amount of time, as he will be in constant healing. And during that time I will have the best swords in the land striking my back. It's not ideal at all. I'm now considering I may need to attack the guards first, and take them out one by one until I have the kind to myself. But that brings with it the risk that the king could escape during the fight. And I can't use a sword with a paralysis enchantment to keep him around because the enchantment would simply work against me instead.

Perplexing indeed.

Mournhold - Afternoon

My plan to gain access to the king may be a longer-term venture than I anticipated. I delivered the pamphlet to the captain of the guard, and while he expressed his appreciation, it was obvious I would not be getting direct appreciation from King Helseth himself. In fact, I now anticipate I may have to invest a lot more time into building up the required trust and appreciation. But whatever the cost, it will be worth it to see Helseth's blood on my blade.

I'm headed back to the temple under the captain's suggestion that should try to find a sympathizer within the temple's staff. They want someone they can use as an informant to judge whether or not they can count on the temple's support of the king or not. I suspect not, but I could be wrong. Either way, if the temple has to fall in order for the king to die at my hand, so be it.

Mournhold Sewers - Night

Several days spent trying to locate a suitable contact for an informant for the king, and finally I've found one. She's a healer in the temple infirmary. At first she pretty much gave the same song and dance as any other temple follower, but I couldn't help but catch some hesitation here and there. I left our first conversation open, and didn't press her. Instead I came back the next day, and then the next day, and won over her confidence. Today she revealed to me that the temple doesn't support the king, and will work against him. She doesn't believe that's the right approach. Perfect.

I returned to the king's captain and gave him the information. Internally I was bursting, hoping that this would gain me an audience with the king himself. But instead the captain conferred the king's thanks and presented me with a new task. But before I get to that, I need to put some coin in my pockets. I'm down to just a hundred or so coins. Amazing that I had nearly thirty thousand drakes not so long ago.

After scouting around town for work, and not really finding anything that suited me, I came across the nord who's boy is being held for his gambling debt. I have no idea if the nord would pay a bounty to retrieve his son. He won't say, but I'm certain that the thugs holding him have some valuables among them. And I have no problem taking those. Better yet, there are three of them. If I'm going to make an attempt on the king's life and have seven swords at my throat, I should probably prepare more for fighting while outnumbered.

There are several goblins in the sewers ahead of me, but once I've cut through them I'll be ready to make my move on the gamblers.

Mournhold Sewers - Night

Well that little venture nearly cost me everything. Even the best laid plans can go awry.

Dealing with the goblins was easy enough. I lured them to me, each one separately and killed about a half dozen before my path to the gamblers was clear. I could have snuck past the goblins, perhaps. Thought their eyesight is much better in the dark than one would expect. I've learned that the hard way. But I decided to clear out the goblins for another reason. I didn't want any of them to be drawn to the fighting and stack the odds against myself any further.

With the goblins out of the way, I crept up carefully to the vantage attack point I had selected. It was a small doorway without a door. I figured in a worst case scenario I could use it as a funnel to keep all three of the outlaws from attacking me together.

I was in position and used several of my enchantments. First my amulet of strength, and then my belt of protection. Then I notched an arrow and stepped quietly around the corner and sighted in on the leader. I loosed the arrow and it screamed through the air, striking it's victim perfectly. In an unexpected twist I saw a bolt of lightning, no doubt from an enchanted weapon, and the in-debited fool Dilborn fell to the ground dead. A reward was definitely out of the question now.

As the outlaws spread out I managed to fire off another arrow, which knocked one of them to the ground. But the leader spotted me, and sprinted at me with a blade drawn. I quickly switched to my own blade, and prepared for the attack. Somehow, despite having a shorter blade, he managed to strike me first. This wouldn't have been a problem, except for the fact that his weapon was enchanted with paralysis magic. I found myself frozen in mid-attack, with the leader stabbing at me repeatedly and his two comrades arriving on the scene.

What was also unfortunate is that I had accidentally stepped partway through the doorway. This left me open for attack from all three villains. And attack all three did. The leader used his small sword and the others used a combination of axe and warhammer. My health was ebbing quickly, and there was nothing I could do about it but watch. My mind was racing as to watch potion to grab first, but I knew my attack would finish before I could do anything, and there was a chance that by the time my attack finished I would be paralyzed again. And even if not, I might only have time to take one potion. My first thought was a reflect potion, to counter the paralysis back onto my foes. But my health was so low I might not survive long enough to take a reflect potion and follow it up with a health potion. At any rate, I couldn't move anyways and I was essentially watching myself die.

This isn't the first time I've encountered paralysis magic. But generally the magic wears off after a few seconds, which can be critical, but I've never had an enchantment last longer than ten seconds. This enchantment was very strong however. It lasted well beyond ten seconds, and I was all but dead when it finally wore off after a full twenty seconds. As much as I wanted to grab a health potion, I knew it was critical that I not be paralyzed again. I wouldn't survive another five seconds, much less twenty. So as my attack finished, I grabbed the reflect potion and drank it so fast I nearly choked on it. My some miracle I had a moment to grab a health potion as well, and I selected the best one I had.

As my health struggled to come back against the constant blows, I began returning the attacks. It was so dark and chaotic I couldn't tell if I was striking the leader or someone else. I wanted the leader dead first, not just for the sake of demoralizing the others, but to prevent further paralysis. But instead the man wielding the axe fell first, a victim of his own weapon's enchantment working against him thanks to the reflect potion I had consumed.

The fight continued, and the leader's weapon appeared to be discharged of it's magic now. I could still very much feel it's sting, however, and the slamming of the warhammer was making the fight very difficult. Nearly every time it came crashing down on me it would cause me to falter in my attack. But finally, after drinking another health potion, I was able to cut down the leader, and then subsequently his follower.

Not quite the fight I had anticipated.

But I was right about one thing. They had a few valuables I could sell, and perhaps some I could even keep. The leader wore glass boots and greaves, and although a bit heavier than my Dark Brotherhood armor, they offered more protection as well. Something to consider as I figure out how to collect the gear I don't want and get it above ground for sale.

Mournhold - Afternoon

Well, I've nearly died twice in the same day now. Several days ago, while in the temple courtyard, I ran across a rude fetcher of a wood elf named Gaenor or something like that. Typical .. annoying name for an annoying wood elf.

This elf had a way about him, though, and was asking for some monetary help. I gave him ten gold, and he proceeded to ask for a hundred more. I hesitated, but figured this wood elf might have a nice investment opportunity for me. The second he had the hundred coins in his hand he asked for a thousand. I hesitated again, judging if I was being swindled or not. I'm not sure if the elf had some sort of charm active or what, but the next thing I know I was parting with a thousand drakes, which subsequently helped lead to me having virtually no gold left.

At that point he asked for ten thousand, which I didn't have of course. So I explained I didn't have that much and he got offended and cursed me out and left. I thought about just running him through and taking my money back, but there were guards everywhere and I couldn't risk it.

So this morning as I making my way to the bazaar to sell off some items from the sewer fight, I cut through the temple courtyard. Out of nowhere a small man in ebony armor comes running at me as if he's insane, and he's yelling all sorts of nonsense. It took me a second to realize it was the elf who had taken my money. He was now running at me with a sword drawn. I couldn't have been happier ... because now it meant I could kill him in self defense and take back my money. Or at least sell his armor.

But to my absolute shock, things did not go that way at all. The first thing I noticed is how hard he hit. I'm not sure where he was getting the strength, but he was hitting me as hard as anyone else has before him. Perhaps he had taken several fortifying potions beforehand. Regardless, it didn't matter. He was striking me very hard and I suddenly realized that for the life of me .. literally .. I couldn't strike him back. It was as if my sword thrusts were always just slightly off mark. I must have swung a half dozen times before I realized I needed a health potion desperately. So I drank one down, and starting attacking again. It took another three or four strikes for me to finally land a blow. And when it did my heart sank. Not only did my blow seem to do no harm to my opponent, the frost magic on my sword was reflected onto me instead.

Our fight continued for some time, with me missing almost all of my strikes and him landing every single one. I had taken a half dozen very strong health potions before I realized I needed to try something else. I had barely scratched the elf's armor, while he had nearly killed me several times already. So I cast my chameleon enchantment, and amazingly it didn't stop my antagonist from being able to track me .. and strike me!

I knew at that moment that if I continued with the fight I would be dead, so I did my best to lead the fight near the palace doors, and when the moment was right I jumped through them and made my escape.

Mournhold - Afternoon

I've had a good night's rest to help me forget about my recent close brushes with the death. When I awoke this morning I headed back down to the sewers and located the crate that I am storing some things in temporarily. One of those items is the outlaw leader's sword. It has a powerful paralyze enchantment in addition to bolstering the user's ability to attack. Quite the valuable weapon, and my first thought was to sell it. But then I realized how useful such a weapon could be in a fight in the throne room. If I could immobilize several of the guards right away, and keep them immobilized for twenty seconds each, that would give me a huge advantage.

The only issue is that the sword is a short sword. I have very little experience with short swords. My father owned a short sword, and he taught me a few things, but after I was taken from him I was taught to wield a long sword instead. If I want to be able to use this weapon to any effect, I'm going to need to improve my abilities with it. My first thought on that was to seek out a trainer. The problem with that, of course, is trainers cost gold. And gold is something I don't have much of anymore.

So instead I've spent the entire morning seeking out goblins in the sewers .. short sword in hand. I'm really quite pitiful with it, and I've had to empty quite a few health potion flasks to keep myself in the fights. I'm starting to think hiring a trainer would not just be faster, but perhaps cheaper as well.

Ascadian Isles - Morning

After an early morning start from Ebonheart, I'm halfway to Suran. I'm told there is a swordsman there that can mentor me in the ways of the short sword. His name is Serjo Avon Oran. I've never heard the name until now, but he comes highly recommended. The only issue my be gold. I've managed to put together nearly five thousand drakes, but I've no idea what this swordsman's rates will be.

I'm seeing the first plantations now. Suran won't be too much farther. I should reach it before evening. This particular area of Morrowind is not without it's dangers, but comparatively, it's much safer than the rest of the wilds. Aside from rats and kagouti, there's not much else to worry about. And so far they are making for good practice for my new short sword.

Suran - Evening

Closing out another day of training. I've been at it for several days now. I have so much to learn still, but I've already improved quite a bit. I slipped Serjo and extra two hundred coins before we started talking about the training, and it worked well. He gave me a great price for each lesson.

The only real problem is that for some reason, the guards in this town are attacking me on sight. No warning. It has made getting around a fair hassle. I've refrained from retaliating up until now because I don't want to put a bounty on my head while I'm in the middle of this business with the king. I'd like to avoid any potential snags to my plan, especially considering my plan is already near suicidal.

I'm at the House of Earthly Delights right now, which is where I've been finishing every day of training. It's not exactly and establishment for females, but the guards don't bother me hear and neither do the patrons, and I'm fine with that. Time for some food and a bed. I'm sore.

Mournhold - Afternoon

After nearly two weeks worth of training in Suran I've doubled my short sword abilities. I've also depleted my personal funds. It's the only reason I'm back in Mournhold actually. My trainer wasn't finished, but I just couldn't afford any additional lessons. And unfortunately there didn't seem to be any work available for someone of my talents in Suran.

So I'm back in the city of light and magic. Back to try and fill my pockets a bit and back to investigate some guards for the king's captain. I've been gone a while, and I don't want him thinking I'm not loyal to the king's needs.

Regarding the king, I've come across some new information that meant nothing to me at first, but now may be the source of my final plan of attack. It's a monstrous thing to imagine, and I'm not certain I could go through with it, but it might also be my only hope of completing my task and keeping my life.

Mournhold - Morning

The past few days have been so busy. I showed up in Mournhold with only sixteen coins in my hand. After two days in the sewers slaughtering goblins, and hauling their valuable shields back up for sale, I'm at around three thousand drakes. The only problem is the fighting was so intense I had to use several of my very expensive health potions. So now I need to replace those. And that means I'm going to need to find another way to make some additional coin before I head back to Suran for more sword lessons. The more lessons I take the more expensive they become. My last lesson was already three hundred drakes.

So I'm either going to look for work here in Mournhold or I'm going to head back to Vvardenfell. I haven't decided yet. It really depends on what is available here.

In the mean time I've met with the king's captain after speaking with the guards and following up on several leads. I have mixed feelings on my involvement now. On the one hand, I'm slowly working my way into the captain's trust, which means at some point I expect to be allowed in the king's presence. On the other hand, I may have inadvertently foiled an attempt on the king's life by several of his own guards. There's no hard evidence to support it, but a few of the suspected guards had been scheduled to be the only guards in the throne room several times, and there seems to be a House Hlaalu connection to all of this. I couldn't have known, not that I want to rely on someone else to spill the king's blood. To the contrary, I would prefer to act before anyone else makes an attempt. The last thing I need is for an attempt to be made and be a failure, and have the king's access cut severely to bolster his protection. That would only my my attempt even more difficult than it already is.

The morning is passing, and I'm wasting time. I need to go find some work.

Mournhold - Night

I may have just stumbled into my very own home .. literally. I was in the Godsreach district, having just completed some business for the king's captain. He had wanted me to pay a visit to the late king's wife and offer my condolences, and then poke around for any clues of any plots or schemes.

It wasn't my most noble moment .. standing there .. bestowing my condolences on a woman I don't know for a man I could care less about .. all the while scanning the room with my eyes for anything of interest. I had assumed I would have to look through the rest of the manor, but a small note on a desk caught my eye. I bid the lady farewell, then turned and left the room. I made sure to leave the door open, and as soon as I was out of her sight I used my amulet of shadows to disappear.

With quickness of foot I snuck back into the room, right past the grieving former queen. I snatched up the note quietly, and glanced it over. It was exactly what the king's captain was hoping to find. It was a note discussing how best to assassinate the new king. For a brief moment I was conflicted. After all, we had a shared goal. I had already possibly thwarted one attempt on the king's life, and now another? Was I working against myself?

But as I read through the note I came to my senses. They were discussing the use of a brute of a man, who they admitted amongst themselves was a poor choice for an assassin. There was also mention of using The Dark Brotherhood, as well as admission that the king himself in many ways owned that organization now. Apparently they are unaware that I decimated it's ranks here in Mournhold, also. And finally, the note concluded with the idea to make contact with the Morag Tong and use their services first and foremost. Another dead end .. once they discover that the Morag Tong was also decimated.

No, this widow and her accomplices were in no shape to attempt an assassination on a king. They were ill-prepared, inexperienced and uninformed. Their plan would fail, and would again likely just increase the difficulty for me. I pocketed the note.

As I was headed back through Godsreach I remembered that earlier in the day I had spoken with a man in the bazaar. I was looking for work, and he had none, but he did happen to mention that the wizard who had appeared in the bazaar and attacked me a few months ago had a manor there. So I decided to seek it out.

It was late evening by now. The sky had darkened and a light rain had started. I found the door to the wizard's mansion and found it locked with an incredible lock. There were guards patrolling nearby as well, so I slipped around the corner. In the chilly rain I readied a master's lockpick in my hand, and turned myself nearly invisible with my amulet. A few moments later I was back at the door, crouched, and attempting to break the lock.

But the lock was something else. I couldn't seem to budge it. Annoyed by the rain leaking inside my armor, I stood there frustrated at the lock. I took a quick run around the building, looking for another way in, but there was none. I arrived back at the door, and stared at it. What kind of lockpicking device could break this lock if a master's pick couldn't?

Wait!

The wizard!

He had had a key in his possession.

I found the key and tried it in the door. It opened ... and I stepped inside.

I was immediately confronted by a very capable looking wizard, who also looked very familiar. It turns out he was the brother of the wizard I had killed, and while he understood my need to defend myself, he couldn't let his brother's death go uncontested. He insisted that we had to duel. I wasn't looking for a fight, but as the wizard summoned golden saints and an ogrem titan I knew I wasn't negotiating my way out of this one.

With the daedra closing in on me I quickly activated my belt enchantment and readied my short sword. I also maneuvered so that I would have a clear path of attack to the wizard himself, because as anyone with any sense knows, if you kill a summoner you will kill his summons.

I struck at the wizard several times, while he attacked me with some strange poison magic and his minions flanked me with additional attacks. Finally one of my strikes landed well, and the wizard wasn't able to continue resisting the sword's enchantment. He froze, paralyzed from the blade. I paused my attack to consume a health potion and save my own life. Then I resumed my attacks on him. He eventually recovered from the paralysis, to my surprise, and pulled out his own small enchanted blade, and paralyzed me in return.

Now I was in real trouble, because I was unable to move and outnumbered four to one. The attacks rained down on me and I felt my life slipping away. Finally the spell broke and I was able to consume another potion and save myself a second time. I then switched to my long sword, which I'm much more capable with, and began to really press the attack on the wizard. But I also took a moment to use a reflection potion, to help dissuade any future paralysis.

It worked, and after quite a bit of additional effort the wizard dropped before me and his daedra disappeared. And now I'm realizing I'm in his home, and he and his brother are now dead. Unless someone comes to claim the home, I can stay and use it for myself. This will be much nicer than sleeping in a dirty inn, or worse .. the sewers.

Suran - Evening

After teleport to Ebonheart, a ship to Vivec City, and a silt strider to Suran ... my training is complete. For now. The trainer said he could show me more still, but that I would need to improve upon my speed of movements first. I've been working on that a bit lately anyways, so I may return to him in the future to complete the training. But for now, if the chance to be before the king comes along, I think I'll be capable enough with this short blade.

Now it's time to sneak back through the town to the silt strider without the guards spotting me.
