Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

Why help strangers when you have your own problems? Seriously, they don't even say "Hey, you Imperial milkdrinkers, he wasn't with us!"

I'm not seeing many people here arguing that the captain's orders were legal or moral.

The captain, whose job it was to send people to the block, would have you executed, not the entire Empire as a body.

Thanks! I was hoping someone would get the reference.

I'm really not sure what you're trying to say here.

Maybe Tulius orderd that anyone on he cart be executed because they have no need for potential stormcloak/thalmor spies.

I thought she died at Helgen either way?
Don't read any further if you wish to avoid a Spoiler. She's Legate Rikke, essentially Tulius's 2nd in command. The Imperial version of Galmor Stone-Fist if you will. She's a nord who fights for the Imperials because of her love for Skyrim. As she puts it:
"I am a loyal citizen of the Empire. My parents were Legionnaires, and I've followed in their footsteps. But more importantly, I am a daughter of Skyrim and wish to see her made whole again."

I thought she was at Solitude when you get out, if that is the case the Who did we kill if we sided with Ralof at the start?

Possible. It's also possible that Ulfric ordered anyone caught up with them to die alongside them as True Nords, be they Stormcloak or not.

Actually, they're two different people:
Skyrim:Imperial Captain - UESPWiki
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Legate_Rikke
Could be the same voice actress, though.

They look and sound (granted voice isn't much to go on in this game) exactly alike though, and considering that Rikke is Tulius's right hand man, well woman, it makes sense that it would be her at Helgen too.

Their skin color is completely different, though.

something has always bothered me, since, thinking about it:

why did ulfric stop fighting near the crossing? and, ralof's explanation?

dagmar,lol? am i missing something?

which, doesn't matter in the slightest in my argument.
Then what the hell are you doing responding to me, because that's what I'm talking about. Snow Elves and Dwemer aren't around anymore. Land can't belong to someone if they don't exist.

because borders and territory are a natural part of the game. and, YOU responded to a border question, which, we are talking about. you then proceeded to add the extinction remark.

If you don't have Dawnguard then don't click on the spoiler button :) Simple as that :)

Actually in the DLC of Dawnguard theirs 2 snow elves living so technically the snow elves aren't extinct. Theirs also hints that the snow elves might come back in the future.
Skyrim:Arch-Curate Vyrthur - UESPWiki
Skyrim:Knight-Paladin Gelebor - UESPWiki

Edited to provide links to my spoiler.
