Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

Yea, but what still confuses me was. Why was he arrested with Ulfric but, did not know he was with Ulfric Stormcloak? Maybe they were arrested separately. Then why are they on the same wagon?
I just thought that maybe he was either tossed onto The Wagon in a mass collection of offenders or maybe he just straight up had never seen Ulfric before and happened to be in the same area as him when the ambush occurred. I think more the latter. But, I dunno. I do find it interesting that he was actually on the List though. He had paperwork on him, lol. He must have been naughty previously.
Makes me want more info on Lokir. Damnit Bethesda!

Maybe Lokir was a wanted theif in the area? And they just dumped him too, to behead him and get him out of the way. Who knows. That is interesting though... always wondered that. Was funny that he tried to run though... I think even Ulfric was like "Really..? Really? You're gonna run in a place full of Imperials? Dang you got guts. Or you're desprate and/or stupid." Or maybe those were my thoughts... >_>

ahh the age old question, stormcloaks or imperials. .. well i went with stormcloaks b/c it seemed a lot of people wanted to get back their talos. i looked at the imperials as thalmor lap dogs and that ticked me off. i dont like that ulfrich is for himself, and i am hoping a DLC will come out where you can either save Ulfrich from getting killed or be part of the plot to overthrow ulfrich. That would make the game .. even better. Especially if the DLC allowed you to fulfill the quest as a addon for the Dark Brotherhood, and also would hope for it to add a perk to charge "protection" from shop keepers

The Imperial Storm
I don't know which to join either. It seems like the Empire is always out to get me. I just got Oblivion and have started the game in the jail of the Empire! And in Skyrim, I'm nearly killed at the start by the same people. That's not all. In Skyrim the Imperials always kills my horses and killed a poor, innocent man in the woods. 
What are the out comes of picking sides? If you join the Stormcloaks, how exactly does the story end? Or what about the Imperials? I don't really mind loot or EXP, I just wanna know how it ends on each side.

Dunno, best to just ignore and leave it alone. People have reported him, let the forum staff deal with it. They seem like decent folk who don't put up with garbage so.

I've seen stormcloaks kill innocents, as well as imperials. Wether I'm on one side or the other, I always decimate the thalmor and save the poor guys who are bound up. I would tell you how it ends my friend... But that would just ruin the fun, wouldn't it?

Oh, but it would still be fun to me. I just would hate it if I sided with the evil of the game. I was considering the Empire, but they seem like slaves to the Thalmor, and I don't want to be connected to that. Plus the Stormcloaks want the right to practice their religion...
Bah! I guess I'll join the Stormcloaks, assuming it is still possible after the Peace Council.

After the Peace Council part of the main quest you can still join either side. I usually wait after the main quest. Makes more sense in a way. Because... Why in gods name would you have a civil war, when not only 'Ulfrics Nords' and Tulius' and the Emperors 'milk drinkers' as people call them, are in danger of god like serpents that fly?! I'd say down with the main problem, and end the civil war after that is done. Idk, makes more sense. I role play ingame obviously so :/ Again, just makes sense lol.
EDIT: According to all the statements, there is no EVIL of the game. Daedra are indeed evil. Though some say the one that has the Beacon (forget that crazy daedra's name) is the good one to most. I'd say both sides of the civil war are evil in a way, for killing their own kind. But in a sense, it is invalid because it was the treaty that lead to it in a way. Along with human nature. Bah. Thalmor also caused part of it. Hm... Maybe I should create a cause and effect chart? THEN I CAN NARROW THE PROBLEM! Wait... It's already narrowed... Stupid Dominion and Thalmor :/

I'll be honest, I either go imperial or just neutral. Next character I make though might be stormcloak. I kind of want a certain General's armor... >:3

I joined the Stormcloaks. It was an easy decision for me and I spent many nights at work (3rd shift), discussing with myself (yes, I talk to myself), solidifying my choice to join the Stormcloaks. I don't hate the Empire. It all boils down to the Thalmor. I hate the Thalmor. Again, to save everyone from a long and probably boring post...my dislike of the Thalmor is pretty much the main reason why I joined the Stormcloaks.

grave is tough, but, joining the storms is ez. they have the righteous path. being a coward and signing a treaty that jacks someone else's main religion is the cowards route.

Yea, cause religion is way more important then making sure your people have food, shelter, and safety. If Skyrim breaks free from the Empire, they would lose many resources and support. I know I heard in Solitude that Skyrim gets a lot of imported goods from all over Tamerial because of the Empire. All that would be gone if Skyrim breaks free.
And also, Talos was worshiped in Cryodiil as well. Not just Skyrim.
