Nope if the imperials win the war against the Stormcloak Elisif would then have the status of being the high queen of skyrim, since shes well qualified for the position. Also she has imperial supporting Jarls to support her for the Queen status.

Technically the Moot can pick any Jarl to be the next High sovereign of Skyrim. As a practical matter they would choose Elisif because if the Imperials win the war, aside from having an heir of legitimacy from being the widow of the last High King, she has the Jagged Crown and the support of the Jarls that are allied with the Imperial Legion which, by the end of the war, is pretty much every Jarl. It's basically the counterpart to Ulfric being a shoe in if the Stormcloaks win the war.

That's exactly what I'm saying. I must pick my poison... Ulfric or Elisif. Perhaps the Moot will not pick Elisif for High queen status base on her inexperienced? a possibility But then again General Tullius will back her up so it's 99% of a chance that she will become the next High Queen of Skyrim.

Losing is an opinion. In my opinion I won.
What made your opinion fact because, you seem to think it is.

Opinions and facts are not mutually exclusive. If it's my opinion that the earth is a sphere and your opinion is that it's flat one is clearly a fact and one is not.

Equally valid is that my opinion that writers do not necessarily and absolutely do not universally share the values and beliefs of the characters in their works is a fact, and that the sharing of the thoughts and perspectives of the characters is a very basic methodology employed in works of fiction is a fact, notwithstanding your opinion that it serves no purpose.

On the other hand your opinion that Mr.Self Destruct shares the values of one of his characters isn't based on anything other than your own skewed perceptions as evidenced by your admitted agenda and your failure to produce anything to support your opinion other than the aforementioned feeble argument that the expression of a character's thoughts and perspective have no purpose in fiction, which, unfortunately for you, is easily contradicted by this little thing that rational people refer to as reality.

You know, I wonder what would happen if you tried to do the core storyline after Jarl Balgruuf was unseated.

So why couldn't they make an alternate path for the Butcher quests if you killed Nilsine during the Dark Brotherhood quests? Makes no sense.

Between the two of them, Elisif and Ulfric, by all means the Moot should pick Balgruuf . I know he isn't an option for High King in the game, but, if we use the whole "the Moot could pick any Jarl to become High King", then he, in my own opinion, would be the best candidate. He keeps himself out of the war (until he is forced into it) and wants what's best for his people (Whiterun).

Good thing I did the Butcher quest as soon after killing Nilsine. Tova suicided so her body was still in her house, otherwise I had to go adventuring in the Hall of the Dead. Funny thing when I found Tova. I talked to her hubby and he was all cheery and happy, so I dragged Tova out of the room and into the fireplace where that guy was. "Both my daughters, and now my wife? How much in one man supposed to take?"
