Actually no, that's incorrect. Even the great conqueror Alexander himself, was known to have engaged in such homosexual behaviour, as was the average Roman soldier from time to time. You see, when you're off conquering the world it takes you to some fairly remote locations. Locations with no women, so they made doOnly the nobles.

Alex was there WAY before the ROmans came and conquered greece! He went and conquered Persia with GREEK forces not Romans! After his death the ROmans came and conquered Greece. ALexander was Greek not Roman

It is more Stormcloaks in the 'skirt' The Imperial armor is exactly that, armor.
The 'Skirt' is made of armor, followed by chain mail under the segments.
Stormcloak dress.
You're applying modern social ideology to a group that is based on a Civilization of history, one of the greatest in history. The Imperial Legions has had a similar armor across two games, Oblivion being the exception which was more Knightly and things of that sort. Morrowind and Skyrim share similar design in the Armor.
No point in complaining about the armor design, they conquered Tamriel and a bit beyond, so the armor is doing something right. I would say he without skirt, is doomed to be conquered.

Good Nordic steel does better than a bundle of stinky rotting fur. Killing stromcloaks is easy since they are just wearing dresses. Like stabbing a beggar

Ahh, It appears my multi-tasking is below par. I wrote Rome's, meant Greece's. In any event, both the Roman and Alexandrian armies got it on with each other and back to the original point, both wore skirts! Emilythenightingale makes a fair point.

And both were pretty badass! Look at the Roman Empire for instance.
Back to topic, The Stormcloak is more skirty than the Legionnaire, just like Mage pointed out
