First thing you must do is create a character, and post it in the Character Card thread in the RP forums. After that, message the creators of each RP and ask if you would like to join. Then your in. Make sure you read the social law of RP to not anger the veterans aswell.
Be very detailed when you create your character. It's also good if he is unique. This may lead to a higher possibility of people wanting you in their RP.

Tip: Posting in Pubs and Inns could be effective as well. They are open, allowing everyone the free will to post. If people like your writing and your character, they may message you to invite you to an RP they may be creating, who knows.
Be on your best grammar, be very detailed, and don't create a God.
