lol half the time I let jack just destroy stuff. I'm surprised how powerful he is though even as just a familiar in the actual Redoran's Retreat (what really happened not my storytelling) he killed the bandit leader almost singlehandedly. He got her down to within one or two bound sword hits.
 
Also I saw I have a new reader or someone who has been lurking ;).

Hey it might just be because I have poured hundreds of hours into this game and know it really well but does anyone else feel its pretty lucky I haven't died yet? I think so far that extra vampire +25% sneak is really helping me out a lot. Can't wait till I get a dagger and enchant it. But I want assasssins blade before I do that.
 
I probably won't be releasing a new one tonight sorry guys. I had been on a role releasing 1 or 2 a night but I have had an exhausting day. I am free all day tomorrow though so should be able to play some.

No worries, Shongo. Been a pretty quiet week for most of these forums anyway, except for Hrisskar, which seems to have re-exploded with entries and comments for like the 10th time!

lol yeah I am about to release another entry but for the first time ever google chrome is messing up and tripping balls! It keeps shutting down unexpectadly for no reason and I don't wanna release an entry when that could happen. I'm sure I'll figure it out soon though.
 
Yeah I noticed that too but Jack is kinda influenced in combat. I may try to have his input in more its just I have to think of thinks that Jack might respond too and when we are just buying stuff Its hard sometimes. I think the first time I die I might actually have Jack write an entry mainly talking about himself and Dar-Shein in general since Dar-Shein is all banged up in the bed.
 
Whew that was a long entry! I really enjoyed writing about grelod though and I wish that this death scene was an actual option. Lol ok I probably won't write till later tonight but you never know.
 
Good detail and length, as well as motivation for your character's actions. ^^ It'll be interesting to read about his meeting with the DB. ;)

Yes it will. I am thinking about him killing the DB but I probably won't as I'll be eliminating a lot of storyline and good gear. Kaleia have you been reading the whole way and lurking or are you new? Either way I really like knowing that more people are reading. LURKERS SHOW YOSEF!
 
Also Kaleia your picture just reminded me of something that bothers me.....would anyone else really like to see a wider range of familiars that possibly get more powerful as you level in conjuration? I personally would love to have a spirit fox or something (I LOVE FOXES) I know you can do death thrall's but with foxes he wouldn't attack and he would die all the time. Is anyone with me (in general not just foxes)
 
ADDED NEW RULE.

Can only use cart once every 24 hours. Because both Dar-Shein and the cart-man ( and the horse or horses, horsi?) would be quite tired from riding so far.

I'm new. *pokes account age* I joined to emulate BIGWooly, and just today discovered your Journal. ^^

As for the picture thing, in case you didn't recognize it, it's the Aspect of Hircine. Totally agree on the familiars thing though...

Ahh, yes, but just because you're new doesn't mean you haven't been lurking for a few weeks!

I know I did while reading Wooly's Journal, probably not alone in that regard, either.

And I've kept up with your journal, too, so far. Pretty good, though not sure I buy the logical rationalization for turning into a theif!
 
I will have to read your journal Kaleia but first NEW JOURNAL ENTRY. in this one Master Difficulty+Sun+Ice Wolves= OH CRAP

I was only membershiplessly lurking for a day and a half, really. I spend almost as much time reading about Skyrim as I do playing it, xD.

As for the rationalization, well, that's alright. If taking that path had been my original intention, I might have planned a better background, but for now that is his reasoning behind choosing the thief's life - he thinks he's more suited to it. Then again, he did make the decision whilst listening to the irritating chanting of an Azura worshipper, "...from darkness into light, and from light into darkness" - that's what sparked the idea. I figure that within a few months, he won't need the rationalization, as he's already becoming used to living in the dark and identifying with the downtrodden.
 
Quick question did anyone enjoy reading about Grelod? I was wondering how that would be recieved. Also is Dovahkiin lurking again or is he gone this time? AS I SAID SHOW YOSEF LURKERS!
