Keeper of the Morag Tong - Fedave Sedas

6th of Heartfire, 4E 201

I did lots of hunting yesterday. I shot at least eight prey before noon. But I knew that I had to go and be what I truly am; a Morag Tong assassin. After my hunting trip, I made my way back to Whiterun. I spent the night there, then left in the morning. I am my way to the carriage driver, and asked him what places I could travel to. He listed some, then I asked what some of the larger cities are. The two I haven't visited yet, were Riften and Windhelm. I told him to take me to Windhelm. I gave him my money, then set off.

When I got here, I chatted with the citizens of the city. The city itself was dreadful. Everybody here discriminated other races, the city was in bad shape, and it was horribly cold out here. I entered the city, and saw these two men accusing a fellow Dunmer of doing things she obviously was innocent from. One was the beggar of the city. What's wrong with the beggars in Skyrim? Anyway, I spoke to the woman, who told me their people are being persecuted here. I plan to change that. Tomorrow, I'll plan an attack on the beggar. That should ease things in the city. Until then, I'll sleep. The inn in the city is nice. Not as familiar as the Bannered Mare, but it's rather nice.

Those are good. Basically, I just want to get my money back below 1000 gold. But still have a decent excuse for losing it.

I would put some harder rules on yourself. They are definitly hard enough but dying more often will lose you money. If you just wanted to do it quickly and add some story too it you could say you were robbed while staying at an inn and you could tie some story too that.

I like this, man! I like this a lot! When I play, I often pay NPCs for things like stabling my horse or serving me a drink at a tavern. I generally only give them 10-20 coins, but you could always give them more if you'd like.

Other ways I keep myself from having too much money is I never loot a fallen opponent's armor, because it seems rather dishonorable and odd to be stripping down the dead. I will, however, take their gloves and boots.

I don't know much of the Morang Tong, but if their beliefs (I guess that's what I'll call it) allows you to worship divines other than Mephala, you could always donate coins to a temple.

Just some suggestions! Keep this up, man!

Thanks! I think I have a small story relating to the robbing idea, as well as adding some of the things Friday said. I'll try to get an entry today.

I was also thinking about paying smiths to repair armor and weapons. I'm actually very surprised at least armor damage isn't a part of this game, since you are constantly being beaten on by people!

I'm glad it isn't that was annoying in oblivion
I think weapons wearing out would be annoying, but seems like you should have to keep repairing your armor if you are in constant battle, especially the chest plates and helmets. At least build the option into the game in case you wanted it to be more challenging or realistic.

Yeah that is what I wished they did. Add a list of options that are for more hardcore players. Such as I want that top compass to go away but I wanna see how much magicka and stamina I have left. It annoys me that they dont put these as additional options in-game

I think my repair system will be that after every somewhat large skirmish (clearing a bandit hideout), I have to buy an ingot for every type of armor or weapon I used.

It's going to be pretty expensive for my my weapons though lol
Yeah, that could add up fast, but would make the financial aspect much more challenging. I have been thinking about instituting something like that for Nogar, too. I even think he should have to completely replace his helmet and armor every once in a while due to damage that is beyond repair.

And when he starts transforming into a wolf, that may ruin his armor entirely!

Your writing style makes for a great read, can't wait for Nogar to hit 18! Looking forward to it.. what a great idea. <3
Thanks! I can't wait either, and really hoping the Dawnguard DLC is out on PS3 by then, too, will make his transformations a lot more interesting.

Man you would be really tough on yourself to transform and ruin armor

The more I think about it, the more I think it's a must. At least until he gains some knowledge or control. I'm thinking only the helmet will survive, popping off as the change happens.
