My Skill level is Red and wrong HELP!

So my archery skill is supposed to be 46 but my skill level is now showing that I'm a 25 and its red. I have looked around at some of people solutions and none have worked for me.

If it's red, the most likely answer is that you have an active effect reducing your Archery skill, like a disease or something. If you go to your Magic tab and check 'Active Effects' you should see any debuffs that are affecting you.

Oh no, it's rabies! Actually if it doesn't show up in your active spells as a disease then it's actually a bug and you might want to consider re-rolling. Another person had the same problem you're having only they had no disease.

Yeah i have nothing in my active spells that is red.

Do you have more then one bow? if you use one that is lower in stats then a different one it will show in red.

I haven't ran into this problem personally, but I remember reading someone said they resolved it by leveling up their archery skill again and it went back to where it should be.

try hiding behind some rocks and shooting giants or something, it should give you a level pretty fast and see if it fixes it.

Ah right, you can try and talk to that trainer guy in Riverwood about leveling up your archery, like morguen87 said it has been known to fix that bug.
