Pickpocketing a guard's keys mid-combat is peak Skyrim and nobody does it

I just realized I've been playing this game for over a thousand hours and I've never actually pickpocketed someone during a fight. Like, not as a build thing—just as a panic move. Grabbed a bandit chief's key while he was swinging at me, unlocked the door behind him, and suddenly I had an exit strategy that wasn't "reload or die."

Got me thinking about how many situations in Skyrim are actually solvable if you just remember pickpocketing exists outside of the stealth archer roleplay. You can steal a mage's potions mid-duel. You can grab a key off a warlord before the ambush spawns. You can literally yoink someone's weapon if they're not looking, though admittedly that's harder in combat.

The skill tree doesn't really incentivize this at all though. Most pickpocketing perks are about success rate or carrying capacity, not about the actual chaos you can create. There's that one perk that lets you pickpocket equipped items but it's buried deep and most people never spec into it because stealth archer doesn't need pickpocketing when you're already invisible.

Anyway, has anyone actually built around this or am I just discovering something that's been obvious the whole time? Feel like there's a whole playstyle hiding in plain sight here.
